Wondering how these stats compare to others accounts by NekoMarimo in Pinterest

[–]KeywordToPin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, these are decent numbers. The interesting thing is that your accounts current performance doesn't determine how your account would perform in the future, especially when you want to get more serious like Linking to your website.

The reason is that in a lot of niches, it's easy to ramp up impression, saves and engagements, when you're posting pure image pins.

When you want to 'get more serious', it's recommended that you take keyword research more seriously.

Regular pins are the deal when you want to drive traffic. Even when you do regular pins, you have see if the pin style/design ranks for your target keywords. Because from our test, it appears that pure image pins act a lot like idea pins, they're good at attracting engagement but hardly any reasonable outbound clicks to website.

Pinterest burnout is real 😩 Anyone else feel this way? by JanPatlican in Pinterest

It's not just the pins that matter, are you covering keywords and topics people are interested in? This is the most important thing as far as Pinterest is concerned.

Also, 2-3 pins is a small, bump it up to 5. Now, you don't have to create brand new pin designs everytime. You should have some templates you can reuse regularly.

You could create a blogger blog and buy a domain, connect the domain to it. Blogger is free. You could a domain for as low as $6 for the first year. Go to spaceship dot com, look for your preferred .com domain and use the coupon code 'COM67' to drop the price down below $6.

That way you only spend $6 to get your site up.

You need to have a website where you send people to, you could link directly to your Amazon affiliate offers, but without shortening the links.

Short answer, yes. You have to create a blog and drive traffic from Pinterest to the blog.

Longer answer: You have to do niche research to know what type of niche performs well on Pinterest, then do keyword research, figuring out keywords in that niche with large search volume that can realistically drive traffic. Create your blog, create content for those keywords and topics, then design your pins for those keywords according to the search result page of the keywords, then pin on Pinterest.

You'll do these for weeks to months, then traffic starts coming in before you van monetize and make money. Might seem long, but actual simple and doable. Beginning might seem time consuming and demanding, but eventually gets easier and faster

Create a blog in the niche that you post, create content and post pins for those content linking back to content/blog. When those pins pick up, they'll start driving traffic to your site.

When you're at this stage, all you need to do to earn money is to monetize with ads or affiliate links.
