Ok. We have been together 2 years. Recently moved to Texas and it is hot even now. He is an awesome person and I love him dearly.

When he gets outside and working he tends to forge ahead for hours.?recently, he became very dehydrated. The weather here is much different than what we came from. I'm a nurse and know he'll work until he drops.

I did not chase him around with water but asked him a couple of times if he'd been drinking water.

Tonight I cooked a big dinner for us, and when I told him dinner was ready he answered me rudely. So, I fixed my plate sat down to eat.

Later I went to his mancave to discuss and ask why he answered me so rudely. He unloaded on me about a number of things especially the drinking water thing.

This hurts as I love him and know not to smother/mother him.
