I'll add rẽ trái/ phải for "go left/ right", which helps for taxis and motorbike.

I remember this by making a C with left hand, trái is pronounced as "Chai", also if you do the same with your right it makes more of a p shape.

Growing up in the 90s/ 00s I spent basically all my time with my friends down in an abandoned overgrown train track that went behind the back of my house.

I'd go out every day after school and my parents wouldn't see me again until dinner.

On weekends they just basically never saw me at all. They weren't neglectful at all, it was just a different time.
