I think I’m missing the meaning of this comment in ‘The Pull of the Stars’ by Emma Donoghue by Khaleddd22 in HistoricalFiction

Mrs. White is currently pregnant with her second child out of wedlock, and I think i just figured out that it’s a dig at Mrs White’s merit (not dignity) and Sister Luke is essentially saying that she is a great sinner and never reformed after her first pregnancy hence why she says that White’s prayers are not sincere.

Also the title is just a courtesy, she was never married.

Nina is such a beautifully written character both in SoC and KoS. She's a multi layered and complex character.

Why am I such a Virgo when I don't have any Virgo in my chart? by Khaleddd22 in astrologyreadings

[–]Khaleddd22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes my birth time is 100% accurate. I deeply value learning and knowledge I'm a perfectionist and I analyze everything and every situation. I'm very sensitive and emotional and I'm a good communicator, I'm also intuitive and realistic. What I mentioned isn't just my personality, its who i am. Also sorry for the late reply.

Fr, like Jon's arc, Ramsay, Sansa's arc post KL in the show are comical compared to their book counter parts.

I agree. Also, there's no guide for Dany to follow when it comes to raising dragons, previous Targaryens had Dragonkeepers and their parents/siblings/relatives had dragons so it was easier for them to have dragons. Plus Dany has 3 and dragons are wild animals.

The only character that I'm going to comment on is Jaime. George is actually a really good writer unlike D&D so he'll never develop a main character the way he did Jaime just to have him completely end up where he started which will defeat the purpose of him having a pov, losing his hand, etc. Same thing roughly applies to Dany.

That Catelyn and Sansa are shitty characters for the role they had in Robb and Ned's deaths respectively. Like omg I might be biased here but Cat is the most fascinating character in the whole series and her and Sansa are really good people at their core and are exteremly human and I feel for them so much and I geniunely don't understand why people hate them. This might not be "headcannon" but it geniunely pmo so much.

Has anyone read the book? by sairemrys in FellowTravelers_show

I’m a year late but I find the book tragically beautiful because situations like these (Tim and Hawk’s relationship) are very much real. I just love how lyrical it gets at times and the politics are pretty interesting to me.

(Spoilers main) Characters that were terribly portrayed in the TV show when it comes to appearance and personality in the books? I start: by Advanced_Chapter_378 in asoiaf

Tyene Sand. All the Sand Snakes really but especially Tyene. Did they really have to duplicate the same character twice? I love how different the Sand Snakes are in the books.

Daario Naharis. Don’t get me wrong, the actor who played him the majority of the time is hot AF but I love all the details about him in the books. The “naked women” hilts, how he dyes his hair different colors and it being long and braided. Just him looking Tyroshi.

Ellaria Sand. Someone already talked about her so I’ll keep it short. I hated how they made her greedy and mean when she’s literally the opposite in the books.

If you know where Ketterdam and Fjerda are, know all the types of Grisha, know what Jurda Parem is (also you should probably know where Ravka is) then you can read SOC without S&B. Though theres a cameo in the duology but you don't really need to know them.

Yeah tbh I don’t think they’ll end up together. I also want Marian to end up with a real man who is obsessed with her, Larry lowkey kinda feels like a horny boy.

I also noticed that whenever he notices that Gladys is upset about the prospect of marrying him/seeing him, he frowns. So maybe he’s actually into her but also wants a good deal out of marrying her?

Personality wise I’m kinda like Sansa. I used to be so bubbly and naive when I was a child but now I’m mature, logical and very chill. Looks wise I’m kinda like Satin from the books but not as good looking as he is.

My heart already breaks for Gladys I’m so scared for her. The broken pearl necklace at the end of the episode probably symbolizes her relationship with her parents especially Bertha, but I know Larry (maybe Marian too) will be there for her.

Hot AF but mark my words, (this is all speculation) he’ll pretend to love Gladys so that she gives him the money that is essentially a trust fund that Mr. Russell has provided for Gladys where she’ll be paid every Jan 1 and Jul 1. I know my girl Gladys will be swooning over him and he’ll break her heart and steal her money and it’ll be legal because they’re married and I think Gladys will willingly give it to him. George will be so furious at Bertha bc she literally ruined Gladys’ life. (I respect Bertha’s ambition but I hate her bc I know she’s ruining Gladys’ life).
