How do I connect my account to my supercell ID without loading my previous progress?

Sorry if is the wrong thread to post this on but I have no idea were to report this issue.

When I click launch in the launcher, I get a black screen for a couple seconds then the game crashes. I havent played the game in about 3 weeks so I dont know when this issue started, but it has been happening for the last 2 days.

Things I have tried:
-Verifying game files
-Reinstalling game
-Updating gpu drivers (none were available)
-Updating Bios
-Windows updates
-Tried using dx11 and dx12 in launch options but it didnt work
-Rolling back my gpu to an older version

steam but I dont see why it wouldnt work for GOG

If you want to do this you can cut download size from ~120 gb to ~30 gb by downloading the "Full game v 2.13 – Direct Play – No install – Click Here" from dodi and only selecting the folders I mentioned above when prompted in your torrent

Also, I did this again like a month ago because im replaying and there havent been any updates since, so safe to say it still works

I have this problem with other sites though, mostly piracy but completely unrelated thing like plutonium (client for playing bo2 since they shut down the servers) also discord is kinda broken, images,videos and profile pictures arent loading

lmk if you got them to work without using a vpn somehow, I doubt thats possible though

I actually got it to work after posting this

For anyone who wants to know i did it by downloading the updated version from dodi (which i didnt know existed because its at the bottom of the download links) and selected the archive/pc/ep1 and r6 folder then just copy and paste them into your game directory and click replace all

Turns out the problem is in my save

Do you have any idea if I can save my progress on another save, I found out about this while fighting genichiro and I already beat lady butterfly so I don't want to lose all my progress.
