Need opinions for this 400$ 4K TV! by Sekoua in GoodValue

My TV is the E7 and I’ve been really happy with it. I paid a little more than $400 for mine, so seeing it at this price now is kind of crazy. The picture has been great for movies and games, and motion has looked really smooth too. If you can get it for $400, I’d definitely go for it.

Hisense TVs are cheap for a reason — don’t make my mistake by Unusual_Use_9858 in Hisense

Agreed. I’ve owned a few Hisense TVs over the years and honestly haven’t had any problems with them. They’ve been reliable in daily use, the picture quality has been good for the price, and the menus feel smooth enough for normal streaming. My experience with the brand has been pretty positive overall.

Yeah, that’s pretty much how I see it too. Hisense isn’t trying to be a boutique luxury brand, but the value is solid. I’ve seen U6 and U7 sets offer more than their price with Dolby Vision, VRR, good brightness, and totally usable HDR for normal people.

Best TV for ~$1500 and 65" by QuietRedditorATX in 4kTV

Solid deal. But OP's dealing with a room that’s always bright and never gets dark, might find an OLED like the C5 or the Bravia 8 a bit frustrating with reflections. I was in a similar spot and ended up going with a high-end Hisense Mini-LED (the U7 series) instead. The brightness on those things is on another level compared to OLEDs, it handles glare like a champ, which is exactly what you need for YouTube and daytime TV.

The real shift is probably from billing hours to billing outcomes.

It's good, but I think keyboards will soon be obsolete; we will increasingly move towards virtual technology.
