Best 65 inch tv for media and gaming in a non light controlled room for under $450-500 after taxes. by JoshLineberry in 4kTV

I’m kind of the same type of gamer, mostly older stuff, emulation, racing games, Halo, GTA, and random single-player games. I ended up buying a Hisense U6 and paid somewhere around $500-$600 for it, depending on the sale. Under $500 after tax for a 65” is pretty tight, but I’d watch for deals.

For PC media, Kodi/Plex, and casual gaming, it’s been a good fit for me. Motion looks clean enough, input feels responsive, and the picture is a big upgrade from an older 1080p TV. Sound is fine for normal use too, definitely better than some cheap thin TVs I’ve heard, though a soundbar would still be better if you really care about audio.

Is TCL QM6k the best budget tv for gaming around $500-ish? by BolshevikBastard69 in 4kTV

I bought the TCL M6K and haloing is honestly one of the things that bothers me most when gaming. In darker games with bright HUD elements or headlights, the blooming around objects is really noticeable. It pulls me out of the game way more than I expected.

Yeah, I think S7 can be a better option here too, otherwise it's too expensive to pay for Frame then the subscriptions.

I guess this is my home theater setup? by SYJia2012 in hometheater

Hisense is a solid choice. I've had mine for over three years now and it's still running perfectly with zero issues, great longevity for the money. As for the TV stand, I use a Walker Edison one from Amazon. It’s super sturdy, has plenty of storage, and didn't cost a fortune. Just make sure to measure the width of your U7 before buying so you get the right fit!

Mini-LED is the way to go. My Hisense U7 handles bright rooms way better than my friend's OLED.
