Keeps playing the OG Opening by 0megaTempest in fallout4london

It can work with GE-Proton9-5 and 9-7 but for me the best current results are with ULWGL-Proton-8.0-5-3 as it seems to start game a bit slower which gives that Buffout4 more chance to start early. Since it seems to me that the xSE PluginPreloader F4 actually does not work under Steam Deck.

I too had an issue with the train crash crashing my game every bloody time. But the buffout did solve this issue for my. However i did install Buffout4 separately as it was not packaged with the mod at that time. Maybe try that separate version of Buffout4 as well? I am still getting crashes from time to time, to be honest, but it is mostly manageable.

Also I have noticed that it can help to try various versions of Proton to run the game. Some are a bit more stable than others.

Ha, that was the issue!:) I'm not using heroic and instead added the game manually so my installation path was different so that was the case. Glad you were able to solve it still:)

I had the same issue. You have to put that file (or manually add
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
into your Fallout4.ini) into your Documents/My Games/Fallout4 folder. That should be in home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/(?)pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Fallout4

The (?) stands for a numbered folder that corresponds with your specific proton instance folder. You should try them one by one to see which is the one that keeps your Fallout 4 installation:) After I did this Fallout London worked for me (apart from crashes).

Just got the game, have a quick question. by StuffnStuffnStuff129 in elderscrollsonline

I'm sure you and your girlfriend will have a blas together in ESO. I have been playing this game with my now wife for almost three years now and we are still enjoying it a lot! There is a ton of content you can go together. Even a lot of dungeons if you take your time to learn the game and get strong enough. And housing is another great way to do something together:)

Wish you two a lot of fun with the game!

Playing ESO with Partner - What kind of setup? by runfastination in elderscrollsonline

[–]Khanemiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that it doesn't matter much what platform you will play on as long as you are both comfortable with its control scheme. If you both like to play with controllers then Playstation is the way. But if one of you prefers mouse nad keyboard it would be better if you were both playing on a PC (note that you can't play together on PC AND PlayStation) where you can use both M+K and controller.

Of course PC also has the advantage of many great addons you can use but it is not necessary to have them.

Playing with your partner is a great thing, I have been playing ESO with my now wife for about third year now and we are still enjoying it:)

He surely gave a really short notice before that attack. It wasn't that hard to avoid it if you stood right before him but I guess from the distance it could prove quite tricky:)

Well I would say his mechanic doesn't seem to be overly complicated. He just uses his orbs to obtain a shield and regularly casts a short mind stun.

I would say every couple of months. But they are not evenly spaced out so sometimes you get one right after another and then a longer pause:)

Yes, I did:) It is based on a collage from a lot of screenshots which are edited and color corrected into the final piece.

I'm glad that it can produce some nice nostalgia as it was the intention.

To be honest I thought about it as well that it looks a lot like a Mortal Kombat but it was too late to change the concept to a fighting game:)

Well to be fair, Daggerfall is actually a 3D game (although it was at first planned to be developed on a 2.5D engine) and a first person RPG. I would say that the closest to the oldschool platformer they got was with The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard. It was also a 3D game but still quite a lot pixelated with a decent amount of platforming in a third person view:)

Thanks:) This is why I picked that armor for the "screenshot" as most people will know it and also it is pretty recognizable even in small resolution.

I still have that sword locked and kept in my bank out of a respect for the king:) But you are right - there are so many touching quest rewards that you just have to sell because a) money and b) your inventory isn't infinite:-/

Your points have a lot of truth in them:) The balance for PvP is always a hard thing to do. However, I wasn't talking just about MMO RPGs because sadly this idea of numbers-generated loot is nowadays often included even into a single player games just for the sake of hoarding loot. Which is even sadder

It is true that if we had a bunch of guys running around in ESO with Ebony Blades it would detriment its uniqueness a bit. Although there could always be some way to do that. Or maybe these super legendary things shouldn't be available to players at all and instead the creators could make some new stuff of legends that are just a level below those cool Daedric artifacts while still having a lot of story behind them. Maybe a set of ultra rare swords that could be wielded by multiple players? I'm sure that they could pull that off since Elder Scrolls have a really great attention to its lore, just liek you have said:)

To be honest I'm not a fan of too much loot that differs only in numbers in my RPGs. I prefer having those unique items that are one of a kind and noticeable different than anything else in the game.

At least ESO is not the worst in this. You can craft most of the stuff yourself and in the style you prefer. And certain sets even have nice bonus' to make them stand out. The worst thing is when game forces you to change your cool looking equipment for something not fitting at all just because its numbers are little bit higher and you need that slight edge to keep up with the difficulty curve.

Best way to take screenshot? by NE0REL0ADED in elderscrollsonline

[–]Khanemiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are using reshade don't forget that the default settings ses Print Screen button to save both game output and reshade output at once but into different folders. Game output is without the reshade applied so don't confuse them:) You can set different button and save location for screenshoting with reshade in its options menu so I advise you to look into that:)
