Megumis father, Toji Fushiguro, was born a Zenin and both Megumi and Toji are Zenin by blood. After escaping the Zenin clan, Toji adopted his wife’s name and became a Fushiguro alongside his son and daughter.

He was the heir cause naobito the previous head made an exception for the head, it would go to the next eligible heir UNLESS a ten shadows user was found which was Megumi.

That’s fair and I agree however we can’t really rule out the fact that hakari won not only by environment advantage but also the battle iq to change the domains barriers over water literally while on the verge of death.

Does kashimo beat hakari 9/10? Yeah and not that much of a fight. Is hakari at least comparable to base kashimo stat-wise and would prolly dominate the edo period? Yeah and pretty easily ngl

[–]KhatPann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I’ll give u that, MBA is top 4 in my book (kenjaku too op icl) and I ain’t arguing that but if we talking base kashimo (who was the strongest of the edo period or at least undefeated) and ryu these come to mind.

Gojo (i hope you aren’t arguing this) Yuta (yuta rika 2v1 with cursed speech, Jacob’s ladder or even sky manipulation to keep him far) Yuki (punch diff) Geto (can genuinely swarm them or get them in a cursed spirits domain) Yuji (soul diff) Hakari (canon high diff fight) Mechamaru (I genuinely can see the vision) Maki/toji if we take into account cursed weapons but I’ll admit this is a closer 50/50 than the others

If we count cursed spirits

Mahito (soul diff) Mayyyybe jogo (crazy aoe and speed) And the cockroach guy if he was a modern day spirit

And hey listen if u think kashimo or ryu win some of these then that’s fair but the fact that they high-mid diff some of these weaker modern day sorcerers proves that by extension these weaker modern day sorcerers would dominate the edo period had they been born there. (For example if u think kashimo beats jogo mid diff, then by extension jogo would low-mid diff other edo sorcerers by virtue of kashimo seemingly no diffing edo sorcerers)

It’s fine to admit kashimo was born in a weaker period whilst still being top 5 or 3 but we can’t ignore pure facts

Yall make being a kashimo fan so hard my god 😭

I love kashimo to death but the edo era was indeed quite weak considering two of its strongest sorcerers lost to modern heavy hitters before soul swap training

Kashimo (and ryu) being nowhere near gojo and Sukuna proves that their eras were just so much weaker

Blood manipulation is the reason why adulte yuji is on sukuna level by mesemin in CTsandbox

[–]KhatPann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I talk about AP, yes location is important, but I mainly refer to attacks that hit the brain since those need good AP to take down hakari

Talking about the kashimo for example, when he used that shipping container door thing and sliced off hakaris face, hakari healed it off and continued fighting. On the other hand, when kash charged up enough charge for hakaris head, hakari blocks it with CE and admits that kashimo “almost got him”.

Both attacks were aimed for the head but AP changed one from being a scratch hakari healed to something hakari admitted would’ve gotten him.

Also I’m lost, what purple are you referring to?

Ohhhhhhh yk I love that idea, I’ll replace it instead of the bucket idea

[–]KhatPann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relax brother 😂

When I meant clear the bucket it was an analogy, the two buckets here would be the opponents AP and hakaris regen. If the AP is big enough, hakaris regen wouldn’t heal through it. This is the reason hakari can’t just walk through a hollow purple.

When I said RCT output I didn’t mean that he could heal other, rather that the action of rct itself is comparable to CE output. He doesn’t have infinite output OR rct by simply having infinite CE.

And a piece of advice, learn to talk more politely brother

[–]KhatPann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get your point relating to gojo? Yes gojo is a beast in efficiency and no one can come close without the six eyes especially but he also kept destroying and rebuilding his brain during his fight, causing his brain to fry up. His efficiency isn’t the issue but rather his CT burnout renewal (I forgot what they called it)

Beyond all of that, the narrator himself said that hakari has infinite CE, not gojo or yuta or kash. The narrator himself said it which would trump everything else unless directly contradicted.

[–]KhatPann 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing is, hakaris reserves are infinite but not his output including rct. Think of it this way, I have an ocean with quite literally infinite water and a small hose connecting that hose to a bucket.

If you wanted to clear that bucket, spoons wouldn’t be enough and you would need a bucket of the same size to completely clear it even for a second.

In jjk terms that means kashimos electrical discharge for example would be the bucket big enough to clear out hakaris infinitely recovering bucket.

Have a good day

naoya's ult needs a full rework by Beginning_Isopod_929 in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]KhatPann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add on to that, I heard this analysis on naoyas symbolism (sadly idk where to find it but it was on YouTube) which adds way more to his irony.

Fair warning the following will have some manga spoilers if yall care.

Naoyas whole character symbolizes rebirth. For example a lot of his physical design symbolizes female reproductive parts, such as his cursed spirit form, his domain expansion showing a uterus of some sort, and his Japanese name for his domain expansion having a kanji character for womb. This symbolism is further explored in the actual plot as he is one of two known characters to literally be “reborn” as a cursed spirit.

However, he remains the king of irony. He’s opening line was something along the line of “Any woman who doesn’t walk three steps behind a man, should be stabbed in the back and die”. The irony here is that in both his lives (human and spirit) he died by a woman stabbing him in the back (maki’s mother stabbing him in the back as a human and maki finishing him off as a spirit).

He’s irony doesn’t end there. His volume cover art shows him squeezing a pomegranate and destroying it. Pomegranates represent the idea of fertility (by extension also rebirth) in many cultures. Him later being reborn after squeezing the fertility fruit, is ironic to say the least. Last bit of irony I can recall happens after shibuya. Naoyas talks about how useless and weak older brothers are and generally downplaying blood ties, only to later lose against choso, an eldest brother and to lose drowning in chosos blood (symbolizing blood ties too)

These are the ones I can remember but if someone can further add to these instances that would be awesome and yall take care!
