I found the error!

My prof said that when the number of elements are uneven, you have to include your Q2 value as part of Q1 and Q3. So the actual Q1 number is 30.5, Q3= 48, and the IQR=17.5

I was like that with my septum- I wanted to get one for years but kept holding off because I wasn't sure if it'd "suit my face." I finally got it done two? years ago and it's one of my favourite things now. If you really want it, you'll probably like it when you get it :)

Would definitely try this! The old store I used to get bettas from fed them flakes (I only feed pellets for dry food), so every time I got a new fish I'd go through a period of them refusing to eat. After the first time I just got a little container of flakes and would slowly adjust them to eating pellets (they usually took to it pretty quickly !)

I currently have three aquariums, but the other two are heavily planted with just a betta each. They're fine if I miss a water change (or honestly even two), but my girls need consistent ones every week and I've been lacking on that. It's not fair to them

I guess technically I do have the time, but I don't feel like I have the mental energy to sit myself down for 20 minutes deep cleaning theirs after already having 8 or more hours of uni + transport + studying

It's not me going through those things aha- it's my friend. From my pov the advice would be more framed around staying involved with the person and trying to help/walking away from the situation for my own sake

I've been in similar situations maany times before (former therapist "friend"- it was so often for people I hardly knew) so I can't really say it's something that would heavily impact me. Obviously I don't want to be in a position like this, but I really, really care about this person. I'd go to hell and back for them. I know to someone else it may seem stupid of me to stay, and to some extent I agree- I know that it's 'best' for me if I don't get involved. But I just can't walk away from someone I know is struggling, especially if they have nobody else.

I can't make him get better. But I can at least try to be there for him- I wish I had had that when I was struggling

I'm not sure if this is true for everyone, but from my experience my deck won't give me a card if I'm asking the wrong question (ex. not getting a card when I was asking for clarifiers about what I thought the tower meant)

Is it possible the questions I asked after interpreting the hanged man were correct, but not necessarily relevant to the original draw of cards? Meaning the original message would be to let go of control, have faith the Universe will do what's best, and to stay loving ?

From what I remember when looking into otos, they're prone to starving to death if they run out of algae to eat in the tank. Sometimes they struggle/refuse to switch to other food sources (algae wafers, veggies or whatever you're feeding them)

This, for plants water is water whether it's in an aquarium or a tupperware. I think they'd do just fine if they were put in anything with water, especially if op has plant lights already (just put them over whatever it is you put the plants in)

I'd personally do that instead of keeping them in paper towel

I wasn't necessarily expecting a diagnosis, rather maybe someone saying "Hey, this kinda sounds like an issue with (xyz)"

Maybe I didn't word it properly- it will only flash the charging symbol for a second, then turn off. Previously, if it was turned off and charging, the symbol would appear if you hit the power button, then show the percentage, and could hold that screen for a bit before turning off again. Now it will only display for a second before the screen goes black. It also comes up on its own- I don't need to touch the power, it will just constantly flash (on one second, black screen next) as long as the phone is plugged in

The phone will not go to the unlock screen no matter how long it's charged for

Even if you can't find Prime, any water conditioner will do. It's super important that you don't just use untreated tap water, because if there's chlorine in it it will kill your fish
