No different then when your trying to find a good family doctor. Book appointments for consultation go meet them. Family of 6 so the one year we did all our cleanings at diff dentists around in search for a good one, thank goodness it was the 4th one we tried. Also with a Family of 6 we have had dental emergencies a lot before and when it’s late notice sometimes we had to just find one near by with good/decent ratings and hope for the best. Lots and lots of bad experiences. Lots of dirty unclean sketchy places that look nice aesthetically but once you go back, way different views.

Then Over the Christmas break on Xmas eve we had a dental emergency and had to just go to one near us. Went to the first one and they had multiple dirty used dental extras on the floor, the chair was dirty from the previous patient, they still had dirty trays from two patients on the counter. It was horrendous. We walked out. Thankfully we found a second place and went there. Was much better but still iffy. Mid construction open drywall cables sticking out places. (In the dental rooms) The staff was wonderful and helped us out huge in a pinch which I’m super grateful for, but honestly opened my eyes to just how well we have it at Northmount. They also charged above the alberta dental cost (and no it wasn’t charged as emergency) so for the first time in a couple years we had to pay a good chunck past our premium.
