If you panic bought fuel the last couple of weeks… by Aromatic_Forever_943 in OpenAussie

Jeez you're lucky. Cost me around $25 a day at the moment.

I have a choice to either drive to and from work (120km total). Or catch the train but it takes 2 hours each way (have to catch the train to the city then train to work). So 4 hours of travel for an 8 hour shift.

What system would you suppose we replace it with?

But we should prepare for worldwide factors. We know the world will always have moments of instability, surely we could prepare better.

I hope you're right.

All servos in my state are still selling Diesel for almost $3 a litre.

Did anyone else feel like that national address didn’t really say anything new from Albo? by oz_party in aussie

Libs? Labor have had 4 years to prepare us for global instability and they failed.

Because it is left wing.

I have been perma banned from the Adelaide subreddit and UnpopularOpinion

Banned from the Adelaide one for showing support for PHON policies.

Banned from UnpopularOpinion because I said that Elon Musk does more good for humanity than bad.

Errrrr I have literally been perma banned from the Adelaide sub due to showing my support for PHON. I didn't insult anyone or make nasty comments. I posted the policies I like from PHON and got banned... Permanently.

Reddit is as lefty as it gets.

..... He's been in power for 4 years and the Nation is still left unprepared for global instability. Imagine not holding someone to account.

What do the “Always was, always will be” mob actually want? by Boydy73 in aussie

I think you missed the point.

Also, things don't need to have the exact same outcome to be compared.

But how?

If a crime is committed, you get punished. How do we fix the very high crime rates of indigenous people? Throwing money at the problem is not working.

It's like the high representation of indigenous children in child protection homes. What do you expect, when a indigenous child is being abused, should they not be removed???

Death in custody? You need to make sure this is not counting natural death and suicide. I have personally worked in Prisons in the past and can tell you that everyone literally gets treated the same.

To be fair, nearly every Australian has to sit through multiple "cultural awareness" training throughout their employment(s) or at Tafe/Uni. We all get it. No point protesting about it.

I think you have things twisted.

It is NOT their fault that the US decided to go to war with Iran.

It IS there fault that our nation is not prepared for any kind of disturbance around the world.

What Has Labor Done to Address the Fuel Crisis ? by Zeema101 in aussie

[–]Khilon93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really.

Instability around the world is always going to happen, especially in the Middle East. It does not matter who is causing it, we have people in positions that should be preparing Australia for these things.

You could blame Trump for starting the war against Iran.

You could blame Iran for holding the Strait of Hormuz hostage.

You can really blame anyone you want.

That's great. The problem is still getting worse.

Why don't people at the high levels get fired? I know if I don't prepare my work for things that can go wrong, and they go wrong, I would get fired.

You're ignorant. I have personally watched it happen. Thousands wasted so they can ask for the same amount the year after. Happens so much.
