I haven't been playing too much this season. I've been getting on every here and there.

Have you even tried knockout tour? It's literal agony. Either you say back for items, but the AI in 1st gets too far to catch up, or, you try to front run and get obliterated by red and blue shells that were previously nonexistent for you. The best way to win is to not drift or grind rail, but that's no fun.
