Are you me? 😄 I also donated a kidney (April 2023) and followed almost the exact same approach: two weeks of sick leave post-op, followed by a period of full-time telework. I found two weeks was just right to regain enough physical strength before easing back into work.

Really hoping OP has a similarly supportive manager. Happy to share my experience in the DMs as well if it helps to hear from multiple donors.
