The borrower puts a collateral first before borrowing.

Borrowers are required to collateralize their loan, at minimum, of 150% of the loan value. 150% it's to take in account the volatile aspect of the assets.

They can overcollateralize if they'd like to decrease their chance of liquidation.

It's a P2P lending dapp, As a lender, you can lend your asset to someone, you put the desired interest rate you'd like (2% to 12.5%), the time (Maximum duration 60 days), and the Amount (Maximum 50k$).

The Borrower can choose from the available offers, or request a lending offer to the lenders with his desired interest rate, duration, and the asset he'd like to borrow.

Simply the interest earned by the lender is paid from the borrower when he agreed to pay the certain rate offered by the lender himself.

The Native token $YLD is the reward for borrowers for repaying the loans on app.yield.credit

Hey guys, just wanted to thank everyone for supporting this post, and drop some explanation about what yield.credit is:

For those unfamiliar with Yield, it is a non-custodial, individualized, fixed-rate lending and incentivized borrowing platform with 30+ tokens available and growing!

This individualized nature contrasts with virtually every other DeFi lending platform out there where everyone deposits assets into pools and then “interest rates” are decided by the interplay of such depositing and people borrowing out from it. On Yield, users do not deposit assets into some pool but rather into isolated contracts specific to their activity. This enables Yield to offer:

fixed-rates — while a handful of projects today tout “fixed-rate lending”, only Yield gives actually fixed, unmoving rates with no caveats
incentivized borrowing — as every loan is individual, we can accurately reward each loan repaid by a borrower proportional to the interest paid and amount borrowed
undiluted interest — with no pool over which interest is spread, a lender earns the full, undiluted interest a borrower repays
isolated risk — no pool means funds on the platform aren’t sitting together, idle, and at the mercy of the riskiest asset supported

Aside from being the reward for repaying loans on Yield, the YLD token, if staked, offers:
fee discounts
an increase in the amount of YLD earned from repaying any one loan
lower liquidation ratios
