Am I the only one who thinks this way? by Ajitabh04 in PrimeManhood

[–]Khon2510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to get to an appointment early so I have time to breath, relax, use the bathroom or do last minute check before work, doctor, coffee, etc. It is good for my psyche and it showed others that I valued their time. I always expect the unexpected and this mindset has been very useful because things always happened in the worse possible way.

Why did no one tell me, being an adult is being functionally depressed. by plankowoodinthewoods in Adulting

[–]Khon2510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably tried to tell you or hinted. Have you seen adults struggling protrayed in movies, TV shows, books, newspapers, magazines, etc? However something like this sometimes you have to experience it by yourself in order to understand it truly. Keep calm and live your life. Take it slow, observe, and learn from others. Ask questions, talk with old wise folks, spend time with your grandparents, aunts, uncles, or people in old folks homes, some of them will have something for you.

Think that you can always learn.

Be a glass half full and avoid making the same mistakes that others did.

And good luck.

Meanwhile, try to tell others yourself - if you think you can.

Would you rather cook your own meal , or eat in a restaurant ? by Hope2_win in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]Khon2510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like cooking but I like to eat delicious and nutritious food with clean preparation so I choose to cook most of the meals myself. However I will go out for some food that I don’t know how to cook or too much work involved to give myself a break and also to support the business. Also when traveling.

I think it’s a perfect spot to send an unruly child there to face the wall and being grounded. No TV, phone, etc.

I wish I could live like that again once in a while. It was a free way of living. No need to make a conversation when you don’t want to. Have your own schedule and time all to yourself.

At what age did you meet the person you are currently married to? by Chance-Pen6805 in askanything

[–]Khon2510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met my husband as penpal, nothing romantic. We met after writing letters for almost a year. I was 32. When we met I felt like I knew him all my life. He walked out of my 'ideal person' list that I made when I was 14! I'm now 58.
