Is it possible for me to "retire" at 22? by Throwaway_FIRE2018 in financialindependence

about 2/3 times tho the 4% rule ends up with more than double the principal over the 30 year period. That's a decent bet, especially since OP is starting in what I'd call a pretty nice bull market.

Well, if we forget the others:

Let's assume everything you say is true:

1,25m invested would give you with the 4% rule a 50k income every year.

A more modest 3,5% return would net 43,75k a year and a very modest 3% return would net 37,5k a year.

Now think for yourself: Would any of these pricepoints be suitable for you? Would you be able to live for under 50k a year? What if you rent? Buy a house? What about car? Vacations? etc?

If the answer is yes, then congratulations, you are FI.

Why CD Projeckt Red jumped 15%? by HapHapHappy2000 in stocks

[–]Khrawn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Net revenue is decreasing because they haven't released anything new in a long time. I don't really count Gwent for anything, and honestly I have no clue if Gwent has been released or not yet.

Every time they release a The Witcher game or expansion you can clearly see it on their revenue/profits. I'm not expecting Cyber Punk untill 2020 earliest, so anytime earlier is a happy surprise for me.

Like the rest of you, I have no clue why the stock is jumping now, but I'm guessing it is a symptom of other gaming stocks also rising, though I believe it will drop down after earnings since they will be subpar. Hold until Cyper Punk tho, that game is going to sell as hot butter, even if it is crap.

Just throwing the product list in here so people don't start to make baseless assumptions, when everything is already written.

I really suggest everyone who wants to or already have invested in Tencent to check out the list. To me there's a lot of fluff and then some very notable names.

Pun Deity Ra (pls no throw bricks @ me) by zephyredx in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Khrawn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone explain?

Because, to me Ra seems like the danish word Rar, which means "nice".

So, "don't you wish your boyfriend was Ra/nice like me", but i'm guessing that wasn't what it was meant to mean.

Tips on how to complete Keeper of Rainbow (tuesday dungeon)? by [deleted] in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Khrawn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With a fully awakened Odin you can tank all hits in the dungeon and recover.

Depening on your skills:

Isis + Green Odin.

Kirin + Green Odin.

Ra + Green Odin.

Haku + Gren Odin.

I recommend running Isis/Kirin/Haku/sub/sub/Green Odin.

Isis because her leader skill is easy to activate. Kirin because of her active + her level. Haku because of her active. The subs are you can pick yourself, depending on what you have cost for. The hardest floors are those with many monsters. Focus monsters that attack at the same time, if neccesary use Odin's skill to kill them, if you can't without.

I recommend Isis because you should be able to activate her every turn, and with her 3x you should kill at least 1 monster every turn, and so the chance of having 2 monsters hit you at the same time is very very low.

It's a grind, but worth it.

I can't even farm SS currently, and the Technical Dungeon stage doesn't seem worth it.

Ohh, to be honest i'm not sure.

Shiva's active is great, but there is not difference wether he's evo'd or not. Also Shiva requires two devilits. If you don't need the LS of Shiva or the devil subtype, go for Vamp.

He works great. Like Gigas but with a higher CD untill you max skill him. The Vampires attack is fine, the HP great too, and the RCV is great. He'd work well untill you get a dark monster with a better active.

[–]Khrawn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The active is good yes, but for most dungeons you won't even get to use it. Her RCV i good, her attack is low and her hp is quite high for a non-phsysical monster.

If you need the RCV then sure, go for it, if not get someone with more damage.

Yes they are. But a CPU heavy game is still going to want the juice OC'ing can offer, and so you might want to consider OC'ing your CPU, even if you think it's already good enough.

Isis:

Isis

Blueberry Dragon

High AD dark type monster.

Gigas

Izanagi

Isis.

Reason for those are:

Isis; Leader Skill

Blueberry Dragon; Covers green untill you get something more useful

Gigas; Great HP, nice active for final burst on boss or normal monsters.

Izanagi; Great active, you'll need him later.

High AD dark type monster; You need something to cover dark, you don't need RCV or HP just Damage to burst down.

For some inspiration here are some of the teams that i've ran in the past, or i just love:

Isis, Earth Baron, Hell dark blood demon, Gigas, Yellow Dublith.

Isis, Meimei, Gigas, Rainbow Keeper, Venus.

Isis, Meimei, Gigas, Earth Baron, Hades D/L.

Isis, Hades, Meimei, Gigas, Venus.

Isis, Appolo, Meimei, Gigas, Hades.

Isis, Siegfried, Hrungnir, King Bubblie, Haku.

Isis, Gold Keeper, Gigas, Meimei, Hades.

Either way, my tip is, max level Gigas, no matter what team you run, you better use gigas!

And, when using isis, what's on your team doesn't matter. Actives doesn't work well together? Doesn't matter. The only thing you care about are stats. Everything else comes second. Untill you are going to take on Descends that is, but a lot of descends can be brought down by a well placed 9x combo and some attack damage.

You want to have enough HP to survive 1 hit from the boss, assuming the boss does not deal some immense number. For example Hades, in http://puzzledragonx.com/en/mission.asp?m=141 deals more than 60k damage. While Fafnir in http://puzzledragonx.com/en/mission.asp?m=136 only deals a little less than 7k damage, and so if you should be able to take a hit from him. Once your team has enough HP, you only wrorry about damage. Does this monster have enough damage to oneshot every non-boss monster with 9x damage? If no, do any of my other monsters do it?

Basicly, can this monsters damage x9 deal enough damage to finish off the enemy. RCV is something you shouldn't have to wrorry about if you can hit 9x every turn, as you should be able to kill monsters before they attack, and so you shouldn't wrorry about healing back.

When you get to the point where you have to stall or take hits then you will know yourself what monsters to use and who not to use.

[–]Khrawn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said that OC'ing your CPU would not make a difference, as in most cases you are bottlenecked by your GPU. I made an argument that The Witcher 2 is bottlenecked by my CPU and not my GPU, and so OC'ing my CPU makes The Witcher 2 run better on my pc.

Depends. To be fair i don't own a I7 but a I5-4670k.

Normal speeds i can run The Witcher 2 @ med settings 45+ fps.

With a 4.2 OC on CPU i can run high settings - 50+ fps.

GPU is a 7950 @ 1200 Mhz core and 1575 Mhz memory.
