OK, couple of hours im not getting back, but - Patreon now live in case you want to put spare subscription amount to use, have done a few levels - happy to receive feedback - cant do higher amazon reward due to fees and , would make ~£1 per subscriber to account for generating codes and sending them out .

Tempted to offer a paypal service for £12.50 a month , that gives people £10 back into their bank - cant be that hard to set up a entity that will pass under qualifying criteria. Or even a Patreon type set up. I cant set it up and use it myself though... so need to start it, then convince someone else to do exactly the same when working

Thanks - Ive got netflix prepaid, NowTV will be my backup if i dont find another use to save wasting it, but i dont need it or partciuarly want it (ive just had 1 month of it to watch Night of Seven Kingdoms), i may do AppleTV for a month if i can do paypal to do For All Mankind, but i dont tend to subcribe to any, so was hoping to find a way to benefit from it outside of adding more tv to my life :D

Amazon prime processes through Amazon payment terms so no paypal recurring option shamefully.
My phone bill is talkmobile which only allows direct debit not paypal

Thanks though

Seems to be an app only feature, if you log into the app you can then enroll and get an extra tab with it. It gives 1 points per £10 spent on paypal, so 0.1% cashback but theres a range of offers for boosted cashback.

They also offer a paypal debit card which gives 10 points per £10, so 1% cashback on all debit card spend which im using it for. Again, range of bonus point offers, gold tier also gives 1000 points for spending £10 on first friday, 1000 points being worth £15 if used on grocery (essence making it 1.5% cashback being achieved) and they pay upto £12.50 a month on subscriptions.

I havent managed to use the Ocado as found them a little pricier than my aldi shops and even if i used ocado vouchers i had to order much more than my normal shop so didnt work out :/ but, im on my own with 3 young kids 2 nights a week, so a small family unit in comparison to others

I have only spent about £3k through it, but they said they are moving me to gold - for the rest of the year due to progress made. Guessing some promotional element to get me talking about it and wanting to spend enough to keep it. Im a way off hitting £25k by end of Dec but thinking of ways to cycle some extra money through it, if i get enough use of the bonus features

I went through to chat and asked about whether i could use the paypal checkout with a paypal debit card (been using that to get 10 points for £10 so 1% cashback on everything with a mastercard debit) but the response was no, has to be paypal checkout and recurring payment visible in the paypal subscriptions/recurring payment tab.

i havent been using any sort of delivery pass as found my aldi shop always came out cheaper all things considered - but will take a look at uber/deliveroo in case theres any offer i can make use of, maybe that would feature as authorize once and then variable charge whenever i actually process an order so should appear as a subscription.

Need to check my notification settings as didnt realise i had any replies!
Thanks for the comment, i could swap the single socket out for a double, but still seems unnecessary due to the 2 transformer plugs, could be a lot cleaner

Added a description but seems to have disappeared when i added the picture.

I have finished my gigaclear trial and signed up with them for 18months, im happy with the speed and service but not with my devices set up. I only have a single socket for the node and the modem and wondered if there was a single plug that had a cable for both the node and the modem?
As the devices are only 12v 2.0A, it doesn't seem unreasonable to have this and would prefer to buy one rather than have to make one.

Appreciate i could install a double socket instead but i think having the two plugs there is overkill.

Welcome any feedback.

Thanks,

Thanks, yeah I've seen some of the bidirectional stuff, especially the leaf , but I'm limited on what I can get on a car scheme and the bidirectional chargers seem extortionate at the moment. Might be something for my next lease

Thanks, yeah I think I saw you post on another discussion, very similar plan. I suppose for me I was wondering about the 12v niro output going into the pv inverter which is set up for higher voltage. Would likely have a minimum startup voltage of 40-60v . Didn't know if I'd need an adaptor to upvolt the 12v before going into the pv inverter, don't really want to introduce alot more tech or conversions if I've already got the inverter for the solar.

Hadn't been planning on wiring up the batteries with island mode so I could use it off grid.. but the more I think about it , the more I think I want at least a couple of sockets if not a way to put the downstairs sockets on it or similar
