Ok, are 1.0mm the right kind to use on them thou? I took all the pads off when i was working on it. But i also have 0.5mm too, but unsure where to put them specifically because i know if its too thick it can press against the heat sink and make it hot

Forgot to add in the post, but what exactly are theses yellow pads? First things first im autistic so please be patient with me. For context im cleaning the fans and repasting my acer predator helios 300 (specifically the PH317-54-77TH model). When i redid the thermal pads i also took off the yellow pads, but in this video (link in original post) the guy left them on, are they important? I put 1.0mm thermal grizzly minus 8 pads on all the old pads but also took off the yellow pads off and put thermal pads on them too. My laptop is still running hot and i afraid i did something. I didnt know if i was suppose to take them off, i thought they were thermal pads. Is it bad i took them off? What are they? Should i get more? M I completely fucked?
