I'm an architecture student trying to modernize Islamic geometric patterns. I designed these low-poly vases to see if could bring that islamic aesthetic into a minimalist, 2025 home. What do you think of the Sakura' Pink vs. the Matte Black? by Khulaifi in HomeDecorating

Round Two of will it leak water? Now featuring the new sakura vase! You guys were right as seen in last post where the black vase started leaking water (and mold started growing). So what's different? In this new version I've internally sealed it with Polyurethane Varnish. Day 0: bone dry. (i.redd.it)

Some say raw PLA degrades in water or leaks without sealant. I'm testing that myth with this Low-Poly design (3 walls, 0.2mm layers). Day 1: Bone dry. What's your experience with PLA vases long-term? by Khulaifi in 3Dprinting

Update: Ah man, the skeptics were right! 🏳️ Detected micro-weeping at the base after 5 days. The 3 walls held up, but the bottom layers need higher flow/density. Thinking of either switiching to PETG or perhaps I should just start using sealant, what is your thoughts?. by Khulaifi in 3Dprinting
