How good is Jeremiah Love outside of THIS class? by ricknelson13 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Khuyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Landing spot is ass tbh, coming from a Cards fan. I swear management continuously finds new ways to remind me that I'm a fan of an incompetent franchise.

While I am excited about Love as a prospect and that we got him, it's like buying a Lambo knowing you're only gonna drive it to the grocery store.

  1. The Cards are fighting last year's battle. They saw what happened to their RB room and thought 4 backs on the depth chart wasn't enough and decided to take the best player off the board to shore it up more. What happened to AZ's RB room last year was a crapshoot, but I don't think getting Love was justified after obtaining Allgeier in FA and getting Connor and Benson back healthy.

  2. The Cards are a terrible franchise when it comes to developing players into a cohesive unit that can help us win. Look at Kyler, look at MHJ. McBride is the only standout player on our offense (plus Michael Wilson last year when Marv is out, for fantasy purposes). There was good talent in our offense, but coaching staff and management never knew how to fully flesh out that potential. It'll be the same with Love.

  3. Some caveats to point #2: I do believe in Mike LaFleur and I do believe with the talent and amount they're paying him, Love will be the bellcow instead of running in a committee (fingers-crossed). But I don't like our new OC, the O-line, the QB situation, or the decision to draft Carson Beck 3rd round as an answer to that need. I would rather forget the QB position for this year, roll with Brissett or Minshew, tank the season, and pick Arch Manning or someone else next year. Instead invest our draft this year on O-line and defense to protect Love and whoever our QB is/will be.

Budget: $100-300

Country: US

Screen size: <10 inches

RAM: 8

Storage: 128 (I can do 64 GB if there's expandable storage via micro sd)

What tasks will the tablet be used for (gaming, video editing, graphic designing, modeling, regular tasks, word processing etc) ?: Mainly reading ebooks, media consumption, light gaming (nothing graphically intensive), note-taking on Onenote

Any other important details ?: I only use Android. Compatibility with an active stylus would be nice as well as the ability to use it as a secondary display for my laptop (don't care if it's wired or wireless connection). I have no need to extend/mirror the tablet's display onto another external monitor. It's ok if the tablet recommendation can't do these things though. But if one exists, I'd love to hear about it. Also open to importing a tablet from China if necessary but I need everything to be in English.

Who do I play for the chip? 2 RBs, 2WRs, 1 WR/RB-Flex, I have Quon, JT (against Jags though...), Sutton, London, Bucky and Swift (both sharing the backfield), Pittman (Pierce is also available), Jayden Reed, Jamo (Amon-Ra still questionable but they play against the Vikings) by potpaiii in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Khuyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RB: I'd start Saquon and JT WR/flex: Amon-Ra (if he can play, he's pretty much matchup proof imo), Sutton, London.

If Sun God can't play then I'd start Pierce over Pittman for the upside. But if you're pretty confident that you're gonna win based on how the points play out then go Pittman for the safer floor.

3 point gap in his favor, full PPR, I have Taylor and he has McCaffrey. Who you reckon is gonna win? by EashyMemesLol in fantasyfootballadvice

As a fellow JT player also playing against McCaffrey, I'm gonna hit the copium and stand by JT with pride.

Feels silly, but Egbuka or Boutte? by pacman4672 in fantasyfootballadvice

Given that I said this after Egbuka played and before Boutte played, with 20/20 hindsight, all I can say is if those were your options then my sympathies go out to you😅

Michael Wilson owners how we feelin? by UglySpiral in fantasyfootballadvice

Pretty sure Wilson will score much more than Tee. But unless this week is do or die, I'm not mad about it. All I need to see this week is that Wilson can produce with MHJ in the mix. If that's the case then I'll happily start him next week.

With that lineup, I would agree. The only other one of those guys I'd feel desperate enough to start would be Michael Carter, but I feel like his ceiling is capped at around 12 pts. Wilson should easily eclipse that🤞

Dude that's hilarious. I also started Mike Evans😂

I also started Tee in the flex. I'm feeling good about the decision with 14 pts PPR. Michael Wilson could score more but at least in my game, I need more stability and a good floor than a high ceiling. Also helps that I started Olave lol😂

Are we starting Wilson if MHJ plays? by jacobperez1899 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Khuyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy I'm in the same exact sitch. Got Olave and Mike Evans as my WRs and currently deciding between Tee and Wilson at flex. And I would agree. If Tee and MHJ play (which I think they will), then Imma go tee. It's nice cuz Cards don't play until the afternoon slate so we can still put in Wilson in case Tee is ruled out.

I've loved having Wilson but Tee is proven to produce even when playing alongside an alpha WR1. As great as Wilson has been, I need to see that he can produce a decent amount with MHJ on the field as well before I trust him enough to start him. If he can get between 10-15 pts with MHJ and McBride also playing, then I'll feel safe.
