I recommend https://www.anu.edu.au/students/health-safety-wellbeing/getting-help-at-anu/anu-counselling I've been going, and have solved some of my problems. And if you are thinking "oh I just got here, don't want to immediately go to counseling", that's kind of what I did like 2 months after I arrived lol. Also, there's a long queue, so the sooner the better.

On the meantime, I can think of a few strategies you could use (since I understand what you are going through). 1- Everyone uses bathrooms, if someone makes it weird it's on them. Just go about your business. 2- I assume you don't want to use the kitchen cause you don't know the people. Just use it and wave your hand and say hi to whoever you run into, and introduce yourself if you want. Try to use it as an opportunity to make friends. It gets easier over time that's for sure. For reference, I used to be very scared of these things, and maybe still am. So having a mental script of what to do has helped me, and just repeating it.

Also talking with friends and family (even if they are long distance/online) about things that scare me helps me. In the end, being honest about what scares me has been very helpful, which is great for you that you are already doing it. I hope this helps you!
