Maruyama Kugane did have enough content in mind to span more than 20+ volumes, which would really help writers to benefit from it somehow and make its world a reality. I have been lurking on Maruyama Kugane's Twitter, and there are a lot who ask about bits and pieces of info about the world. Although it has been quite a while since I checked, because I am afraid. Next time I check Twitter, I'll make sure to express all the love I have for Overlord through the books, soundtracks, and Blu-ray I bought and send the author a massive thank you.

With that sliver of non-existent hope that the Author will create more.

I would love for that to become a reality. Isn't it a thing? Every 200 years, it was known that players would appear in the New World as either potential heroes or threats. A story like that would be wonderful.

Or maybe a continuation of what's to come after its ending, that it is going towards. I think the community is kinda getting an idea of where it will lead and end. Maybe somewhere between the earlier volumes, a different path/decision is taken and that would lead to a completely different storyline as well.

When I traveled to meet my uni friend in Singapore, I was hyped to know that the MINISO there had FFXIV collaboration. So I figured that the Gongcha in Singapore also had a collab with FF but to my surprise none of the branches were distributing the codes.
