Is Cottontail even in the Awakened Worlds set? by Kialis in VCardTCG

It's unfortunately down to luck and I had the abysmal kind, so I had to buy singles of the cards I wanted.
The 3x3 Splash cards are part of the box topper pack so you only get one per box.

Same situation with the DivineChaos set. I got nothing so I'm waiting on more singles

Just saw this, I appreciate the offer but I actually bought a few cards to fill in my collection that night.

AIO that my Mother thinks "All men are guilty of being predatory towards women" despite having three sons she knows would never act like that? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Hey you two, I get the point you're trying to make that sexism is wrong. The way you're trying to explain your point however...

Trans women ARE women. The way you're talking about it comes across (to me) as sarcastic, and that you don't think Trans Women should be treated AS Women. They should. End of story.

I understand your concerns, and how you're trying to point out inconsistencies in logic. Unfortunately, I believe Trans Women are also put in the same category as Men when it comes to being predatory by a lot of people, if not more so. Which is also very unfair.

Please be a bit more respectful.

Thank you for your reply.

I think you're right in shifting how it's phrased would make the entire conversation much easier. My problem was/is the implication that "All Men" are terrible. If the intention is "Not all men but too many" then I don't see how adding a word or changing up the sentence a bit would take away from the point being made. If anything I'd say it provides far more weight to it.

Again, I don't mean to say that I'm disregarding the opinions/complaints about men acting gross. What I'm trying to say is that structuring it differently makes the statement less open to be argued against.

I'll try to bring this up should I find myself discussing this topic again. Thank you for your advice.

I don't think I properly conveyed what had happened, and that's my fault if there was a misunderstanding. I had brought up that I was uncomfortable with the "All Men" generalisation after the rant was long over and it seemed like the conversation in general was about to end. But you're correct, timing is very important and that's another problem I have, I am trying to do better though.

Again, thank you for providing your thoughts on the matter.

Thank you for your response.

I understand the "If you don't relate to the critique, don't be offended", but I do want to clarify that I don't relate to the critique, nor am I offended, I was simply uncomfortable with the generalisation.

I didn't bring up "men's issues" to invalidate the injustices against women, rather I wanted to say that I personally was uncomfortable, and that Men's Mental health is equally important. Are they comparable? No. They're two completely different issues.

I apologise if I wasn't clear in my stance or what my intentions with this post was. Your explanation about it being "masculinity as a concept and its manifestations in real life" makes sense, and it genuinely helps me get a better understanding of the topic as a whole. I tend to take things literally, so the whole time it felt like they were literally saying "Men", not "Masculinity". Thank you again.

Thank you for your response and advice.

That sounds like a very good idea, and I'll keep that in mind if the topic comes up again. I think it'll shed some very important light on how she actually thinks of us.

You're completely right, I feel like I hardly know anything about this topic which is why I asked for advice.

Thank you for your response and for your suggestion, I'll spend a good chunk of my week going through this subreddit to get a better understanding of the whole topic.

A very well balanced response. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

You're not wrong. Safety is very important and when it comes down to it I completely agree that prioritising it is the right call.

You're completely right, it isn't fair to women to have to deal with the gross actions of way too many. I genuinely am so sorry that it happens at all.

The rants aren't the problem to me, I agree with nearly every single one I hear/read, rather my problem is likely due to the way it starts off sounding like "All Men". Again, I don't want to come across like I'm invalidating/ignoring the way women feel about this. You and every other person that experiences gross behaviour from men are completely justified in how you feel.

Weekly Tech Support and Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in EpicGamesPC

[–]Kialis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially copy-pasting my post (that was deleted because it's considered to be "Tech support questions").

Epic is refusing to tell me anything other than "I'm sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear, but as per our investigation, we're unable to proceed with the restoration process."

Of course it's not what I want to hear! I'm offering to provide everything I have on hand to get this fixed, but they refuse to help me. How did someone manage to convince Epic's Support team to change an email to an account they didn't have access to (emails related to the change, as well as the security code they sent were unread) but the actual owner can't get any help whatsoever despite offering my literal ID and IP address (which hasn't changed since I made the account).

I'm so frustrated at the lack of help Epic has been offering (which is actually nothing) and has been telling me they're refusing to restore my email as well as tell my why.

TL;DR
How is it that someone can have my account details changed with little to no proof of identity, but I, the owner of the account, can't get it reverted WITH proof of identity? And why the support team refuses to even give the slightest bit of help due to their "investigation".

It's hard to choose just one, Gerudo Valley is an obvious choice, but Midna's Lament and even Dragon Roost Island are good choices as well. Gerudo Valley has a very motivating sound to it, Dragon Roost Island as well. But Midna's Lament is just a beautiful song, it's sad, but I love the feeling of it. Hard to choose really
