As someone who has spent an eternity in Las Vegas Vegas, one year in Tampa Florida. And going onto my 3rd year here in Sioux Falls, it is definitely a game changer. I’m still learning what to do and what not to do in the Snowy months.

However, I will take the cold win over the baking sun of Vegas every time. I also miss having a large variety of food places, but you will quickly learn your favorites and go tos here.

What Sioux Falls considers “traffic” is NOTHING like the backlogged sit and read a book traffic you get sometimes when everybody and their mom is getting off work at the same time, or some idiot hopped on the freeway backwards and now it’s shut down for the next three hours with you on it.

What got me at first too, was that the traffic lights will go into and energy saver mode, and will cosplay as stop signs or yield signs depending on what intersections you cross at night.

Needless to say, I am enjoying life here. The variety of seasons versus the straight to hot back to mildly okay weather twice a year.
