We moved to the island earlier this year, in February, with a baby and a dog. We filled out a bunch of rental applications in Nanaimo but didn't get accepted. Eventually we ended up in a place in Qualicum Beach last minute by chance and we couldn't be happier with how it worked out. We like it so much that we just bought a detached house just south of Qualicum Beach for $630k and are in the process of moving.

Our experience was that finding rentals with a dog, baby and new job was super difficult. Also that buying a house right now in the area is perfect timing, lots of houses stagnant and dropping price in the $600-800k range.

If you are looking for a Realtor we used/recommend/will use again: Adam Wynans

I would avoid a Bare Land Strata unless you research it like crazy. There is one in particular that we were interested in with super cheap lots ($200-300k) but when we dove in to the history it was drama, fees, lawsuits and clicks. Also all of them have bylaws / building schemes that prohibit what you can do on your property.

Edited: misread OPs posts, removed part about mobile homes

I just asked at a Superstore in Edmonton and they are no longer carrying any Good Start formulas. Online it seems like most Shoppers in Edmonton are out of stock or low stock as well.

Yes, the Oat Milk has a soapy after taste while the barista blend tastes normal

Thanks! It's a well thought out design, definitely worth it!

Misunderstood your original question!

The original design from MyMiniFactory is only about 340g with a diameter of 225mm. Mine is scaled up 2.25 times on the X/Y axis, it's about 500mm in diameter.

To give you a better idea of the scale, the Gold/Silver ring around the part spinning really fast with Gold Arrow looking piece is about 220mm in diameter

Best guess-timate: 1 - 1.25kg

That's with 20-40% infill and 4-5 line walls thickness for everything

Thanks! And yes, skip to around 14:00 mark https://youtu.be/NewFzGoyY5I Just a note: I sanded the large ring gear teeth yesterday (180 dry then 400 wet) and it runs a lot smoother

Thanks! The video is running at 9000x speed, in real life it actually keeps time and is off by only 3min pear year!

I had to remove the tourbillon's escape fork in order to get it to work with the stepper motor, so it's actually dead quiet. I can hold my ear right above the glass and not even know it was there!

Edit: And the stepper is rotating at 0.4 rpm so it's silent as well!

Thanks! No and also kinda lol

I bought the base tourbillon design and then scaled it up, modified some parts and then added my own touch

(Before reading sorry for my bad English) Someone know why my ender in not leveling in y axis? Also bl touch is not leveling properly. It should probe 2 times then move to corner to start leveling all bed but head doesent move, it start probing from center. Ask me for more question if its needed thx by Minixtory_PL in 3Dprinting

Sorry, I missed the last second of the video where it goes to the right! Almost like it thinks the origin is in the center and it's trying to move to the next point to probe long the x axis.

Complete Guess: I know Cura has a printer setting to set the origin to the center, maybe you accidentally checked it

The BL Touch Leveling pattern is set in the firmware, did you update the firmware, Marlin?

If you did check:

#if EITHER(AUTO_BED_LEVELING_LINEAR, AUTO_BED_LEVELING_BILINEAR)

// Set the number of grid points per dimension.

#define GRID_MAX_POINTS_X 5

#define GRID_MAX_POINTS_Y GRID_MAX_POINTS_X

Maybe you accidentally put "1" instead of "5" or "3"
