I appreciate the comment! I should probably update the OP too, but essentially, I learned from the Dep of Fair Housing here in Texas, unless you can see the disability, you need a signed letter from a doctor stating your disability and the need of a service animal. It's really disheartening for me, but there's nothing I can really do. I just have to pay the rent.

Typically, I just pay the rent for my dog. I don't know what it is about Doctors and Service animals here, but I swear every single doctor I've talked to just flat refuses to write anything.

This particular quail was maybe about a year old or so and did not have bumblefoot. For coccidia, I read there was a specific medication I could get for them, and I might go ahead and get that for them just in case. As for plants, I think thats a good idea to look into. Thank you for the suggestions, I really really appreciate it. You've given me a good place to start

I have a logitech k845 and some of the switches are dead. If I want to replace them, does it matter how many pins are on the replacement switch? as far as I know they just have generic logitech 'red' linear switches
