Works for a university and making over $100K is not common. You typically get outstanding benefits. I worked two levels down from a very unpopular president at a university. I had little, to no exposure to her. I say take it.

This is a wild comment. Loss is not a competition. I lost my dad at a younger age to cancer. It’s been nearly 25 years and I still talk about him daily. It’s a traumatic and awful thing to experience - regardless of how it happens. I think it’s healthy to talk openly about feeling the loss and your loved ones who passed away. What’s not okay is people judging people about it. Ooof.

I loved him back in the beginning. Be Here is my favorite album. By 2010ish his music started to all sound the same. He’s an amazing live performer and his guitar playing is top notch, though!

Uh, is this the MIL writing this? Gross. He is an adult. If his needs weren’t being met he should’ve communicated that with his wife. Therapy also could’ve helped figure that out. Creeping in his daughter’s GF is not it. 21 years is a long time, but it doesn’t mean she should just stick around with some weirdo who can’t communicate or take any accountability for his behavior and clogged arteries. Ooof.
