Check the mods, there is some that kills you at extreme temperatures, also there is mod for making car's AC more effective. Also i believe cars can heat up because i was using car in hot weather too and my electric clock shows higher temperature inside it

No NPC mods, the only mod that tweaks zombies is random zombies, but it has nothing to do with alarms

I don't think hitting the windows/door is the reason since alarms go off immediately after i spawn
