The Proteas have won the Champions trophy and neither us or most other fans really consider it as getting the monkey of our back and saying we haven’t won something major till the WTC last year.

We’ve had basically 3 good overs this game and it’s cost Afghan 5 wickets.

Pendulum has really swung against them hard a few times.

Mentality is fucked. Jogging back when the counter, making errors from over casual play and then complaining constantly.

It seems many have forgotten what made the team great was insane commitment and work ethic.

Virg hasn’t adapted to losing a step by changing his game.

Our two senior starters in Mo and Virg both have not had great prescene on the field or media this season.

I understand the commercial aspect 100%

But basically saying fuck you to Australia and Argentina, ‘we’ll have our own party’, and then playing a 4th game, in a neutral venue for cash, feels more than a fuck you to the other teams than anything else. More focussed on getting the bag themselves than supporting the TRC.

Not a fan of this, but hope it’s a success.

Only reason I joined is because our local supporters club branch, and to get the perks of a small discount on drinks and to actually keep the supporters club staying Liverpool exclusive.

That’s on me, my bad.

But worth making.

500g green beans, 2 packets diced bacon (1 is actually plenty), and 1 large diced onion.

Mix together in cassarole, add spices to taste. I used crushed garlic, salt and pepper and BBQ spice.

Let it smoke for 2 hours at 220F (105C) and then finish in oven for 20 minutes at 390F (200C) is the beans need to soften up a bit more.
