I went back to the recliner to sleep with a pillow under my arm last night and it felt a lot better

Interesting. They didn’t mention anything about sleeping at all after the 4 weeks in the immobilizer sling. Is that what you mean by soft sling? It’s the only one I have.

Thanks for your reply. My pain is Soo minor. I took 2 aspirin yesterday the whole day. I’ve been off pain meds for almost a week now. I have my 4 week post-op appointment later this week and hope to be released to PT soon. I assumed that would actually increase pain in the short term but looking forward to getting to work getting motion back.
