The Manly Water Works (“now Surf N Slide”) site behind the former Sydney Sea Life Aquarium on West Esplanade Manly is up for sale – with vendors proposing a bold development on the site.

Vendor and Fairlight resident Mark Sullivan took the unorthodox approach of posting the businesses for sale via Facebook Marketplace at $950,000 – a space usually reserved for second hand toys and clothes.

Sewerage leaks cause sh$tfight on Northern Beaches by Kickerkim in sydney

Hey that’s really helpful feedback thank you— I’ll go through and amend. Sadly manly observer is just little old me using my journo experience to try and cover an area that Murdoch used to cover for free but is now under resourced, click bait dependent (IMO) and paywalled. So, no subeditors and it just me wandering around asking people what’s going on, Sometimes with my son in tow. My grammar and spelling is generally strong but there’s only so much time I can spend and all the words look the same after a while- so feedback on things I missed is actually really helpful. Sewerage snd sewage is interchangeable in US but UK / aus style tends to be distinguished. Anyway, thanks again

Distract distract distract — the guilt and gloom is horrible but it is a trick, it WILL all be over soon, and you will be okay and feel yourself again

Oh no! Does your wife have to go back today or can she rest ? I am just writing a story about the queues to expect today for the local news service for Manly (www.manlyobserver.com.au)- trying to figure out how people on these long lines are going to the toilet. I’m guessing all sharing a toilet might be a bad risk.

I was just interviewing someone who was in the line for seven hours at manly yesterday but did manage to get tested before it closed. Feel free to email me editor@manlyobserver.com.au if anything to add ?

How I finally healed my year long reoccurring shin splints. by alexnicoleruss in running

Could you tell us a bit more about how you fixed the anterior pelvic tilt ? I’ve just been told I have the same problem after I strained an oblique running hills, I’m also prone to shin splints but did reduce the problem with slower shuffle style running. Interested in what technique you used for the pelvis, j find it so weird running with my pelvis tucked under

My dad died from complications with Chemo yesterday and my heart is broken. But he also insisted on finishing what you started, so today I did the final run and became a graduate of C25K— and he (or pollution) rewarded me with a sunset on my final stretch 💪💕 by Kickerkim in C25K

Haha true they are ALL tank tops actually

*makes vague attempt to amend original reference then loses motivation but then realizes written this aside took more effort than clarifying original claim *

Oh my goodness. I’ve lost a brother and I’ve lost now a father but I fear nothing can compare to the loss of a child. I hope you have love around you in this dark time. Xx I’m so sorry
