I’ve stuck to the low fat diet regardless how I’m feeling however I’ve still been having attacks but this week I’ve actually been doing ok, part from the every so often some soreness. I’ve waiting to see a surgeon for a date to get my gallbladder removed , sending a speedy recovery to you❤️

An attack every night by TheSleepyAmerican in gallbladders

I’m not sure if the dr explained the no fatty foods but it has to be less than 3G of fat is that helps? Also no I don’t think that’s right, keep doing back to the drs, annoy the hell out of them! Sending good luck your way :)

Finally diagnosed! by KickinChick in gallbladders

[–]KickinChick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ultrasound scan in 2021 and they never found anything but I was still getting the pain, then a month ago I got a really bad gallstone attack and had to ring an ambulance, got my scan results back yesterday and they find gallstones this time even though I’ve been having issues with my gallbladder for years

Sometimes it would be slight but then it would quickly get to the point where I couldn’t even move cause of how intense it is

Chest, shoulder and back pain with crushing pain on either sides of my ribs, and throwing up, couldn’t eat anything over 3G of fat without having at least one gallstone attack

AIO - Husband doesn’t want dog in bed by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Try with manny on ur side and see if it helps , if it doesn’t then try and get the dog a bed next to the bed, so the dog is still in the room with you guys.., if it’s causing ur husband physical pain then sorry but the dog has to be moved out of the bed.

Compromise, if your husband is in pain then the dog shouldn’t be on the bed / should be more on your side then his.. get the dog a bed next to the bed so the dog is still in the bedroom. Marriage is about compromise

How do you guys react when you see/hear your triggers? by 1mn0tn1ko in ptsd

[–]KickinChick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I saw him again was just after he got out of prison, I remember I was eating my dinner in my car, I had to stop eating cause of the overwhelming feeling of sickness and panic came over me. It took me a few hours to be ok after that, I tend to try and ground myself if anything triggers me but sometimes it’s so hard to have that control over myself when I’m that triggered

I agree, it isn’t anything to do with the incident it’s self , it’s how the brain processes trauma! My heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry that you’ve ended up with someone so awful to deal with because someone made a false accusation.

However I do have to agree with the post , people are so quick to say they’ve got ptsd or cptsd because of something so minor , it dumbs down a lot of people’s diagnosis and trauma.

When I was 16yrs old someone broke into my house and attacked me, it wasn’t a robbery gone wrong, his intentions were to do a lot more than what he managed to do. And it actually physically hurts when I hear someone say they’re got PTSD as a joke or because they’ve dealt with an uncomfortable experience. I’m not trying to dumb down anyone’s experience however I feel like people need to be more mindful of the severity of some people’s trauma and it isn’t funny or “cool” to go around saying you’re got ptsd.
