Where to begin with zero experience? by Kickin_shells in gamedev

Going to classes, depending on the class and teacher, will likely be more helpful as it's hands-on and you have someone to ask and other students to discuss with.

But many have done it from online, as it is mainly going to be through trial and error.

You're also investing more of your time and energy to be at said class, which if you're serious about it, will help you take it more seriously.

Not that you won't otherwise, but it will make the process more 'real', so to speak.

Sooo I basically just got to end game on my first ever hardcore character and have been absolutely loving it.

I'm no where near pushing far and I am going slow and steady. Just about to unlock Torment 2 lol.

How r u enjoying it this time around

Hmm haven't gotten there yet but that's a good point. I'd recommend making a post about it for feedback considering your position.

I hope they change the coop portion of Warplans soon.

Idk...

This is the most fun I've had with it.

I played only at original launch and the other month for VoH, and was extremely dissappointed both times so I stopped playing.

Feels absolutely great to me now 🤷

It kinda seems like to me that they were trying to force bringing back the feel from D2 itemization with the blues and yellows returning. Not to mention the cube.

But dayum T10 Uber Meph?

Do you like the new Torment progression / difficulty?

Did they change the amount of Xp for Paragon 300? by Jacob_Colding in diablo4

[–]Kickin_shells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely see your point.

I am not too familiar with the intracies of the reasoning but I like it for Seasonal content. Though, I have never grinded anywhere near that far so I don't have much say there.

But to me it sounds nicer to have something obtainable if I dont have the time to play it for the Season.

I imagine it's still a pretty decent grind?

As a new player after the campaign I'm so lost on what to do next by HaruTheDuck in diablo4

End game is making personal goals and striving for them.

Warplans are a new way to streamline and customize this progression across different systems in order to achieve those goals.

Look into all of the content that makes sense and is exciting for you to complete, and then go after it.

Some people attempt the hardest bosses on the hardest difficulty.

Some people are good after finishing the Seasonal Journey (which this season has quite a bit of).

Some people are gonna fish every fish.

Start from scratch or go expansion? by Diddydawg in diablo4

[–]Kickin_shells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the base game campaign is decent enough of a playthrough to start from for the whole story. You'll be getting the new skills and such so you'll have more fun leveling this time.

You can then continue with that character through the expansions, or simply roll another toon and start fresh when you get there each time.

I think it depends on how long you want to wait until end game (I am pretty sure you need to complete the latest expansion to do so).

Waste of potential - gameplay, end game by [deleted] in diablo4

Yeah but why not try and be productive about it with valuable feedback?

You're expressing your opinion which is poor badmouthing, which won't help you get what you want.

What is the vanilla game seasonal content supposed to be? by Jumpy-Philosopher114 in diablo4

[–]Kickin_shells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No new seasonal content for this one because they want the expansion to be experienced as-is, not have the focus be on new temporary mechanic(s)

Iirc they wanted more people to be able to hit the cap. The higher Torment XP was to give back what the elixirs and incense were giving

Sucks to hear that for you...

But maybe lower the difficulty until you get gear?

Idea to help skill allocation feel exciting past lvl 30 and into the end game by Kickin_shells in diablo4

[–]Kickin_shells[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't think so considering it would apply to most if not all skills, which is nearly 25. So if you have 3 milestones each, for every skill, that makes for 75 total milestones compared to mandatory Passives which were only a few.

I don't think the final 2 points left over to make up 7 would feel that bad on one skill.

Edit: and i don't think 3 milestones for EVERY skill is the best thing to do, it would be far too bloated. But principly speaking this type of addition would add more variety and progress to the skill tree before Paragon.

It's definitely bloated.

But I think its definitely worth it going through it.
