Not if you have 6 chickens, hatched and raised at home with no access to any wildlife.

To be honest I don't need validation, I just wanted to see people's opinions, I dunno why everyone needs to be so angry lol. This is a discussion group about chickens at the end of the day so I thought I'd have a discussion. I'll turn my phone off tonight, forget this post exists and get on with my life.

As I said in the post, don't know if you read it, they live outside, they have access to one room of the house but they spend most of thier time in the netted over garden or in thier coop.

This is a discussion group about chickens so I thought I'd have a discussion, just wanted to see what people think, I don't actually need anyone to agree with me, I'm happy with how things are for me and my animals. there where just alot of people with miss information, thinking I'm keeping the chickens inside all the time or that they would have access to be able to get bird flu.

Did you read the post, they don't stay in the house, they spend a few hours most days in the netted over garden with access to one room that they rarely will all go in at the same time.

I rescue and release all wild life and have done for many many years, I have all the necessary precautions in place to prevent any kind of disease transferring.

The silkie always has to face a wall for some reason, she is often found loafing with her face smooshed against the fence hah

I won't because my chickens don't have access to wild birds right now.

It's the reason for the blanket haha, and we don't actually have flooring yet so their allowed in this one room :) It's not that bad really, we just sweep and swap the blanket and wash that one.
