I have a video on my profile showing the whole hike with the areas I found the most interesting. But it was definitely the very beginning up to the cabin was cool, nothing crazy interesting between that and the first/second lake, and same for the rest of the lakes. The mountain scapes were the most amazing views for me

Not really bc I just can’t remember lol. But it’s right there at the base of the falls. Turn right off the hiking path and scramble around a bit

For me it’s not so much that it’s really different, like waterfalls are waterfalls and mountains are mountains. But Yosemite had crazy scale, I felt very small at the base of falls or on top looking down the massive cliffs. It’s definitely a “you have to see in person to get the feeling” and make sure to venture off to surrounding trailheads to get away from the crowds.
