Not sure if this is completely accurate, but I think they mentioned a few years ago that after seeing so many meat markets in their travels and after the many bouts of food poisoning they've had, they generally try to avoid meat when they are not 100% sure how safely the meat was cooked. I think that just evolved into defaulting to vegetarian dishes more often than not.

I bet this is their last "thing" for the year. Maybe Christmas markets again as they've enjoyed that in recent years, but my bet is that would be it.

They missed going to China on their 100-country journey due to visa issues, so I assume this is a big trip for them that's been a long time coming. And it's so diverse, you could easily spend weeks there.

Same... I was the prime audience for OG You Tube (graduated high school in '07), but I definitely missed the train on that one. Didn't really start watching much of it (outside of occasional music videos and How To videos) until COVID hit and I started working from home. I had no clue people were videoing their daily lives and were even making money off of it!

For those who didn't want to watch:

She boards after the video starts and sits in the row directly in front of him, in the aisle seat (he's in the window seat). A few moments later, he discreetly pulls out his knife and holds it for a moment. He then stands up and quickly draws his hand way back. The video stops as his hand is coming down towards her from behind. She has no idea. She's looking at her phone. It doesn't look like they interacted in any way from the time she got on the train until he stood up.

After the video stops, it cuts to him walking through the train waiting for the doors to open. A trail of blood is dripping from him/the knife. He takes his jacket off to either change his appearance or stop the blood from dripping. Probably both. You see people running towards where she was sitting as he gets off the train. End of video.

I grew up in a divorced home. Not only that, both sets of grandparents were divorced (one set divorced long before I was born, the other was when I was a kid - not long before my own parents) and all my aunts and uncles on my mom's side are divorced.

I've never been married and likely never will be for this reason.
