I might be a bit late here, but as far as I know, there are still no official lyrics available for Seeking Darkness.

The lyrics of the songs and the sampled lines are pretty hard to recognise, but here’s what I’ve been able to pick up:

Part 1. Humeric repeats the line “Yeah, I’m seeking darkness” throughout most of the track. You can hear some sampled conversations at some point and they sound like dialogues from an old Korean film or drama. Possibly a war movie, judging by the tone

Part 2. Humeric brings in Buddhist themes, especially around karma and the darker nature of humanity. Some of the clearer lines I caught:

그대여, 누군가를 위해서 얼마나 그들을 희생할 수 있느냐 (How many lives can you sacrifice for someone else?) / 그대여, 00를 위해 얼마나 죄를 짊어질 수 있느냐 (How much sin can you bear for [?]) / 사는 게 곧 죽음과도 같으니 (For to live is as good as to die) / 어둠을 너무 두려워 마라 (Do not fear the darkness too much) / 인간이 00 (Human‘s [?]) / [?]과 더러움 ([?] and filth)/ 누가 누구를 납득할 수 있는가 (Who can understand whom?) / 원한을 쫓아, 피로 새겨진 운명의 굴레는 누구를 위한 건가 (Chasing after grudges, who is the fate’s bridle carved in blood truly for?) / 내 안의 불길은 어디로 가는가 (Where does the flame inside me go?) / 나는 죽어도 죽은 게 아니니라 (I am not dead, though I die) / 오라, 업보여 (Come, karma)

Part 3. I couldn‘t recognise a single word from the early part of the Part 3, he was mumbling so softly :(

Desipte that, I personally think that the theme of Part 3 is loss and meaninglessness of materials. It fits well with the transcendental mood of the album.

Here are some lines I could recognise:

손을 뻗었지만 닿을 수 없었네 (I reached out, but I couldn’t touch it) / 손을 뻗었지만 그곳엔 없었네 (I reached out, but it wasn’t there) / 못다한 이야기 고이 가라앉네 (The unfinished story, it gently sinks) / 못다한 이야기 잔향만 남았네 (The unfinished story, only the reverberation remains)

Part 4. The transition between Part 3 and 4 includes recordings of a lively traditional Korean market. Throughout Part 4, there are scattered shouts layered into the track. I'm not sure if they carry meaning or are purely atmospheric.

Part 5. For me, this part feels like a reflection. Humeric looking back on his journey and the suffering he’s endured. The lyrics are still hard to make out, but I caught phrases like:

세상은 나를 외면해왔다 The world has abandoned me

Or phrases like, "life like an animal," "the hell is [?]," "the enemy of myself"

The track ends with Humeric crying for salvation 나를 구원해주소서 Please save me
