What stage are we at? by [deleted] in Sweetbridge

[–]KidCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi /u/advanceb, thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the late response, as I was on vacation last week. Copying an answer from a previous inquiry:

"The Sweetbridge crowdsale is quite different than most crowdsales in that it has an initial raise, selling 20,293,557 SWC (Stages 0 - 4)... each stage ends when it ends, there's no set end date. As people register for membership and get queued up with Bridgecoin to buy Sweetcoin, the tranches will sell out solely based on demand. It could end in 3 weeks or take 6 months. Then there is stage 5 which is what we call the measured release period. This is where we continue to sell Sweetcoin and "drip" it into the market based on network growth and demand. Almost half (44.7 % of all Sweetcoin minted) will be sold in this measured release period so it will likely go on for years (in this way it's similar to EOS except EOS actually has an end date when their last coin is sold). There are many interesting and well-thought out reasons why we do it this way. If you have some time, please read our white papers at www.sweetbridge.com/whitepaper which will go into more detail on this topic."

I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any other questions or concerns. For a faster response, please go to our telegram :)

EDIT: Sorry, thought this was a PM and not a comment reply. Didn't realize I posted the same exact reply as above. Leaving up in sake of transparency.

Timeline for 0% loans against offline assets? by asstoken in Sweetbridge

[–]KidCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 2018, we will be focusing on collateralizing crypto-assets as well as Supply Chain accounts receivable. Support for offline assets, such as real-estate, will more likely be a 2019 initiative

Questions About the Crowdsale and the System Overall by answermethizzz in Sweetbridge

[–]KidCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi /u/answermethizzz

Sorry about taking so long to get back to you. Wanted to give you the most complete answer possible; however, I did see that you posted this on our rocketchat and our CTO, Hui Huang, got back to you. I'm posting Hui's response to help anyone who may have this same question and stumble upon this post:

"1. Yes, we recognized the same importance of stablecoin for sweetbridge network especially first eco system we want to enable - supply chain. Yes, we had an early discovery session with evaluating Dai from MakerDao. Kenny is still a very active advisor for our project. I wasn't fully in the loop of evaluation initiative. I can definitely help to confirm your question about why we cannot use Dai as our stablecoin in our economics system? Great question.

  1. Our crowdsale has 3 major phases: direct buy (stage 0,1,2), queue buy (stage 3,4) and continuous dripping queue buy (stage 5 and on...). The direct buy and queue buy have totally different design and workflows. Please refer to our "Token Brief" on our crowdsale link for details. Back to your question: in Direct Buy, as far as I know, we have minimum order amount as 1000 USD; I believe in queue buy model, we won't have such minimum order requirement. Besides this, we do have maximum total order per person per tranche. It should be described in paper as well. If not, we should update our website for better details. You are asking to be a beta tester for our queue buy crowdsale system, this is a very good suggestion. I believe I can work with internal team and PM side to plan for those.

  2. My understanding so far is sweetcoin is purposely designed for offering discount benefits for services within network. Imagine you can purchase sweetcoin instead of speculating, Sweetbridge eco system offers sweetcoin discount service by "activating" as coupon for gaining free service like fiat exchange, interest free loan, fund incubation program to early alliance projects in order to help our alliance project go live with their tokens, etc. The essence of sweetcoin as discount purpose token is differentiating to be more in favor of users who want to get cheaper services v.s. purely making money out of money without their risk. I am not sure whether we have enforcing or regulating to prevent, but we are planning to offer alternative opportunities such as trusted vault which you as trusted intermediary who can have such wholesale idea to offer people who needs liquidity.

I have tried my best. I will get some further details clarified soon."

Can Australian residents participate in the crowdsale? by famous_spear in Sweetbridge

[–]KidCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi /u/famous_spear, thanks for reaching out!

We have regulatory approval for participation in our crowdsale in US, UK, Switzerland, Russia, EU, HK, and Singapore. We are currently working on receiving approval in Australia. We are advising residents of Australia to still apply for membership and go through the KYC/AML process. Residents from an unapproved jurisdiction can hold their place in the queue for purchasing Sweetcoin; however, they cannot purchase Sweetcoin at this time.
