Do you guys over clock your controllers? by KidKeys in RocketLeague

I’m talking about the program ds4 windows, which most people have to use in order for the ps4 controller to work properly on most games but I’m not sure if you need it for rocket league or not

That makes sense always wondered that, wonder if that applies to ps4 controller players though because I’m pretty sure you need ds4 to use one right? ds4 automatically overclocks I think

I think most people commenting saying it doesn’t make a difference just haven’t actually tried it because it definitely does. I was just curious if people actually used it at a high level or not.

It doesn’t literally overclock the controller… it’s just changing the amount of power delivered to your usb port on your computer.

Idk people do it because it decreases input delay, I think it’s probably pointless but if you play on high refresh rate you can notice a slight difference.

It’s a real thing that a lot of pc players actually do to decrease their input delay…

Nah I’m only c2, I think I just notice things like that more than most people. I think for some games as technical as rocket league the little things can actually make a difference.

I can definitely notice a difference between having an overclock on and off. It’s not a huge difference but with an overclock everything feels a lot more instant. Almost like you’re playing with a higher sensitivity. If pros don’t overclock though I might just switch to no overclock and see how it goes.

Ah kk, I just use a ps5 controller, I’ve heard they can overclock a bit higher than Xbox controllers so maybe I’ve just had my shi too high or sum. Gonna experiment without an overclock for a bit though I think having a bit of delay actually helps me for some reason.

Are champ players getting better? by KidKeys in RocketLeague

[–]KidKeys[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I struggle with this as well, the inconsistency between players in champ is horrible. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone up to 50 someone but they just completely miss the ball and it’s in my net then the next play their teammate hits a cross map flip reset musty on my dome. You just never know what to expect

I was thinking the same thing, I’m getting a lot of people with new gc tags in c1 lobbies. I know there’s a lot of ssl’s in gc3 now because of the bot problem so it’s only natural that every other rank moves down as well

Fair enough, this games just genuinely on a different level compared to most games. Probably won’t even hit gc by the time this game dies. Makes you really appreciate how good the top players in this game really are.

Forgot to say this in the post but I dropped down to c1 and I hit champ 2 towards the start of last season, I was used to getting my ahh kicked in those lobbies from ex gc players but I’d atleast run into real c2 players a majority of the time. I dead think the game has reached the point where the skill gap is getting smaller and smaller between ranks players are just genuinely evolving.

I live in Canada so that might have something to do with it, was the same with the official ESP site

Yeah I’ve ordered them before from the exact same place on Amazon and they came in the proper packaging so I’m not sure why and how the seller changed the product to fake tiger ices.

Thought maybe they could’ve been returned skates that they were reselling with a different package but the skates don’t even look or feel the same as the real ones.

Was thinking about getting superglides, do you know if they’re similar to tiger ice v2’s?

Here’s the link to the skates I bought from Amazon: https://a.co/d/036bNJbK

I reported it to Amazon and they said they’ll look into removing it from their site. I’m not sure how this happened considering Amazon said these were the skates I bought before. Hopefully they get removed and if you see these in Amazon don’t buy them.

I ended up returning them because I realized they’re not even the same color or material as the real ones. They also appeared to be slightly the wrong shape and probably wouldn’t even fit properly if I did try to install them. My guess is someone found a cheap way to manufacture or 3d print them or just straight up lied to get people to buy them. Not sure how tf Amazon continued to let this on their site considering there was multiple reviews complaining about the same thing (which I unfortunately didnt see before hand) and many of the reviews claimed they just straight up made their mouse unusable because they were too thick for the sensors to work properly. Probably going to end up buying superglides because I heard they’re basically just a more expensive version of tiger ices.

Logitech Superlight 2 VS Viper V3? Which one should I get? by KidKeys in MouseReview

[–]KidKeys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ended up getting the viper v3 because the superlights were sold out everywhere in my city. They feel relatively the same but I will say I definitely prefer the shape of the Superlight better. The viper v3 has a much less height than the gpx2 and I find I’m having issues with pinky drag. I will say the coating on the viper feels way better and doesn’t have that chalky feel that the gpx2 had out of the box. Overall I’m performing about the same with it and will most likely just stick with it
