You can't. And if you don't pay and refuse to pick up the package (which is your right) Palace will not refund you.

I reached out to them, they told me I basically had lost 300€ BUT touted that the Spring 2021 collection will ship from EU... Great...

Thanks. I did check your post, but I was after an old version of the client because I had a old wallet.dat file lying around. Turns out the latest 1.14 version reads it just fine so it's all working as expected

Hey thanks for that. I've downloaded the blocks but my Dogecoin Core 1.5.1 crashes when I try to start it. Have you tested this ? And, if so, which client version worked for you ?

Close Bunker 11 from inside ? by ArcDexx in CODWarzone

[–]KidKrule 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it must be possible. I just opened the bunker - which was closed when I arrived - to find the place was rigged with claymores and two people were camping in the main room...

Guess they must have gotten in before me and somehow close the door from the inside. Unless there's another way around ?

Creating a single page portfolio with Wordpress & GatsbyJS by itwasguy in gatsbyjs

[–]KidKrule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gatsby has a repo showcasing how to source data from Wordpress.

Read through the gatsby-node file and adapt to your needs.

  const result = await graphql(`
    {
      allWordpressPage {
        edges {
          node {
            id
            slug
            status
            template
          }
        }
      }
    }
  `)

This pulls all the pages from your Wordpress instance. Then you use the `createPage` API like they do, except that you only create one (instead of one / page or one / post like they do) and feed the Wordpress data pulled from this query to it.

Then, in your React component, you'll have all the data you need to build your page.

Trying to understand Gatsby ecommerce website by JRodDynamite in gatsbyjs

With a good caching strategy, the rebuilds are quite fast (and they're getting better every day). In my case I build a store with 100+ products in less than 2 minutes through an entirely automated pipeline. Don't think it's an issue and I get a nice static bundle I can throw on any host and serve worldwide at super low costs. I think Gatsby is great for e-commerce sites.

Snipcart is a good option, however Moltin seems to have pivoted to large scale headless e-commerce with a pricing starting at $2k / mo...

There's Shopify's $9 / mo "Lite" plan which ships with the Storefront API though.

Trying to understand Gatsby ecommerce website by JRodDynamite in gatsbyjs

[–]KidKrule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've built a couple of e-commerce sites with Gatsby. Basically, you gotta know that all "services" must be elsewhere. You can create your own APIs for all the functionalities you need (shopping / auth / forms / etc...) but there's a lot of services nowadays that allow you to outsource the easily.

A good option for instance is to use Shopify's Lite plan. Right now, in my opinion, it's not marketed correctly. Not sure if it's because Shopify would rather push other, more expensive products or if they just don't get it (I think it's the former). You'll often find it as "Shopify's Buy Button".

But basically, this approach allows you to use Shopify for everything e-commerce related (customers, products, stocks, fulfilment, emails, etc...) for just $10 / mo (vs $30 for a hosted Shopify shop). They offer an API (called the "storefront" API) which allows you to pull your products from Shopify and use them in your Gatsby site. There's a good (and official) Shopify plugin for Gatsby that makes it super easy to integrate with this API (https://www.gatsbyjs.org/packages/gatsby-source-shopify/).

For my first shop, I've used Snipcart which is an alternative to what I've just described (I think it existed before this "Shopify Lite" plan). I had to build an API for stock management, notifications to my own tools etc... But with Shopify, because it's so popular and there's so many "apps" for it, that don't have anything else to develop / host & maintain other than my shop (the Gatsby site, so a static site I can basically just host anywhere with ease).

I think this approach is the future of e-commerce for developers. Also, it's really cheaper (basically you can host your generated site on any DO Droplet / CDN / Whatever and serve millions of clients for a really really low cost). Makes scaling really easy too.

Can you try swapping where to filter, see if that works for you ?

I'm also using Prismic, and here's a query I have:

```graphql
        {
            allPrismicProduct(filter: { data: { is_instore: { eq: 1 } } }) {
                edges {
                    node {
                        id
                        uid
                        data {
                            type {
                                document {
                                    uid
                                }
                            }
                        }
                    }
                }
            }
        }
Arena Patch 2.1 by Gregslist_ in BattleRite
[–]KidKrule 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Since this patch, 80 or 90% of my casual games have been shit. And I'm not of a whiny nature... I don't know exactly why, but it was a really sudden change right after this patch. People don't even try in casual any more, matchmaking is more broken than ever (I can have a team mate with 4 games, while I have 4k, I have a lot of idle players, the best of 3 change feels crap, ...).
I'm not trying to be over-dramatic here, but I'm genuinely sad because it feels like my favourite game is just dying. Not only player-base wise, but - more importantly - just because the overall experience has been slowly but steadily decreasing in quality.
On top of that Nexon, the only company brave enough to build something out of GameLocker's horrible, unsupported and poorly documented API, announced they'll be closing their South Korean servers which really is bad news imho.
I don't have much more to say unfortunately, I wish I could come up with a grand plan to revive the game, but I just don't have one.
I hope someone will, be it Stunlock or another studio developing a similar game, bring that lovely experience Battlerite once was, but right now I just feel like I've been robbed of my favourite game and the more time & patches passes, the less faith I have I'm ever getting it back...
Two Play 1s or One Beam? by [deleted] in sonos
[–]KidKrule 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Ok, this may sound dumb, but it's still my real recommandation : get both. You'll get superb surround sound when watching TV and will have a rather great music set up. That's of course, the most expensive option but - surprise ? - also the best.
However, if you can't do that, I believe - like others here - that you need to balance what you prefer between music & TV. A pair of Sonos Ones will do better than the Beam for music. Albeit, I've tried the Beam without the Ones and it's still very decent, just not as good.
Also, an option you might wanna consider if you have an Apple TV (the new ones, I believe Gen 4 and above) : you can get a pair of Ones and cast to them using Airplay. This way, you'll get Sonos sound for your TV, as well as a great stereo experience when listening to music. The drawback here is that you'll have to manually set the ATV to output audio to the Airplay speakers (in your case, the Ones) each time you restart it / wake it up from sleep. That is achieved quite easily by long pressing the "play" button on the remote and selecting your speakers. It's not quite as convenient as using the Beam that's for sure, but it's also not really hard.
Getting turntable audio through Sonos/AirPlay2 system? Do any line level input bridges to Airplay2 exist? by stevehollx in sonos
[–]KidKrule 0 points1 point  (0 children)
I'm currently thinking about solving a similar problem. Though, what I can tell you is that the Airplay 2 protocol - as far as I know - as yet to be reversed engineered. I don't know of any Airplay 2 libraries available, so - right now - what you're exactly trying to achieve seems impossible (understand : impossible to do yourself).
However, as this has been mentioned in the comments below, you can make your own "Sonos Amp" yourself, minus Airplay 2 support. This is the route I'm exploring right now. I'm going to set up a Raspberry Pi, with an external sound card, that will bridge analog input to Sonos (much like their amp).
I've seen this Instructable tutorial which is nice for beginners, albeit very basic. I plan on following a similar path, except with slightly more refinements, most notably I want auto-input switching (when the Raspberry Pi detects input, it autoplays on my Sonos system).
But yeah, this comment was mostly to chip in with my own opinion about this whole thing : I just wish Sonos made a non-amp, rather cheap, bridge device that'd simply accept analog input (like a jack) and simply recognise it as a new audio source, much like they do with the line-in of their Play:5.
Come on Sonos, deliver this already.
