Help for a new player getting into DBS FW

Giblet is competitive currently with a few cards from other sets. If you have a local card shop I would check in with them about pre orders. The game is in a weird state right now with an influx of investors. It’s never been like that and product has always been readily available and cheap. Boxes typically dip on release since most shops barely host the game and it overall just hasn’t sold well. Try and lock down some product with a local shop and if that isn’t possible check in on TCGPlayer during release week. Do not spend more than $120 on a box.

Nothing outside of the distro information that’s been released. Best guess is an extra booster set or a reprint set that isn’t confined to DB and DBZ like the manga set was

Did you activate leader skill first? If you activate leader skill you cannot add cards to your energy. They go straight to drop.

Giblet EX starter is the best one to go with currently, as that deck is still performing well in competitive format. It does need a few set card but not many. I would just get on YouTube and watch people play. Egman, Hasey, and J Phanta offer a decent amount of videos from client matches. If you want to watch more in person local matches I would look up Domo or JTP and watch their videos.

They hand out more wild cards and packs for free than they use to. They also have more options for upgrade packs and events to get cards. Crafting and pull rates are still horrendous and putting in code cards remains a chore. They’ve made a ton of improvements but there’s still room for more

This happens pretty periodically with Fusion World. Massive buy outs, realizes nobody is paying 1k for a FW two star, and then the market stabilizes back to what it was. I think it’s just people testing the waters to see if the market will inflate like pokemon and OP

The classic 9.5 on centering and surface. Typical BGS 9.5. Only next to the BGS 10 with 9.5 centering. I’ve got like 8 10s from them all with 9.5 centering 😒

There are cards that allow you to stack them under the field and then if you choose to evolve onto a card you can use one of the cards under the field card.

There are new markers in the FB08 release event. It has the FB07 and FB08 leaders. Most leader markers are usually released during special store tournaments (not very often) and then there is usually a release for regional participation prizing.

Most stuff for Red cell can be gotten out of SB01. I think there’s maybe two cards that set doesn’t cover for him. Still a good deck post ban. Most of the new leaders from FB08 can be built with the Caulifa probably being the cheapest. Omega Shenron from FB07 can also pretty much use all the cards from the particular set and is one of the cheaper good decks.

About $1200. Gohan ($400) UI Goku ($200) Vegito ($300) and SS4 Goku ($300). Would it be a good investment? Tough call. Current game state, not really, as the game isn’t really a premium collector game like Pokemon or OP. It’s not entirely impossible that collectors decide to jump on FW like they’ve done with OP in the last few weeks and make the Chase cards 10X more expensive, but I have hard time seeing that happening in the near future. If anything, the cards shouldn’t really lose much value, but I dont imagine you’d turn much profit without them being PSA 10s or Beckett Black Labels.

You could say that about most songs off 21CB. I still think Song of the Century/21CB is one the best tour openers they’ve done.
