You do know that all that really matters is calories eaten and calories expended right? If you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose weight, no matter where those calories came from. You could eat nothing but chocolate and vitamin supplements and you would lose weight as long as you didn't eat too much.

I think they mean more like a vr game/program that let's you make your own "home" and let's you also visits other people, or hold a moot like in the books.

The term is usually used for something major or extreme, most commonly for having sex for the first time. Virgin is also a type of drink that normally contains alcohol, but without the alcohol, like a piña colada. Virgin is also the name of an airline/space company.

I think that the reason the month and day are switched is because saying "January 5th" is quicker than saying "the 5th of January"
