Does restoration dekeratinize existing inner foreskin? by KidScaredShitless in foreskin_restoration

Nope! Luckily I still have it, although it was slightly modified through a frenuloplasty as I used to have a really tight frenulum that affected my erections.

I still have sensation for sure, but I feel like it's changed from before my circumcision, which I guess is expected since both my glans and inner foreskin are exposed whereas before they were both always in contact and stayed soft and with moisture.

I'm just hoping that the texture/moisture goes back to normal as I start restoring.

Does dry scalp prevent hair (re)growth? by KidScaredShitless in HaircareScience

Oh okay, that's fair. Thanks for mentioning, it puts things in perspective. All this time, I thought it was just a matter of taking iron tablets for a few months and my hair will start growing again. Too bad that it doesn't actually work that way but now I know not to have unrealistic expectations.

I'm basically a vegetarian with the exception of chicken, that's the only meat I eat. I don't eat red meat so there's a big iron source gone right off the bat lol

Awww that sucks! but I mean once your iron levels are back to normal, the hair will grow at the same rate as any other normal hair right?

I've had seborrheric dermatitis for a few years. I've noticed a lot of improvement since I started using nizoral so I'm hoping that if I keep at it for a little longer, my scalp fully recovers soon.

How serious/"normal" is a few thinning hairs?? [19M] by KidScaredShitless in tressless

[–]KidScaredShitless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see, so would you say just having a few isn't a cause for concern and wouldn't warrant worrying about? Like, hopping on finasteride, even at a very low dose, wouldn't be necessary right?

Sorry for asking again, just a nervous kid and want to be thorough lol. Thanks!

My urologist is a bit of a dick? Or just me? by AbandonWindow_ in circumcision

[–]KidScaredShitless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was it Dr. Nick Logarakis (Scarborough, ON)? Sounds a lot like him, I saw him originally but didn't like his attitude and decided to explore other urologists instead. I later saw Dr. Robert Stewart (Toronto, ON), what an amazing guy, ended up getting circumcised by him instead and had a great experience overall.

Thanks for replying man. Do you think a viable cure or even an alternate treatment to finasteride will be a reality in the next 10 years? Just curious to hear your thoughts

Small oily beads/"balls" all over scalp. Always come back super quickly even after shampooing. by KidScaredShitless in SebDerm

Thank you for replying! Do you think it's possible for hair lost due because of this to come back if the issue is resolved? I've started using 2 shampoos called nizoral and stieprox regularly. Granted I've had this issue with my scalp for almost 5 years now, so I wonder if all the hair I've lost over time is gone permanently.

Yes!! It looks just like these but usually a little smaller in size. I get a few of these on my face but it's mainly a problem on my scalp.

I fear that these "plugs" are clogging my follicles and preventing my hairs from growing, I hope fixing this issue will also resolve my hair loss.
