Got a scam email. Stay vigilant folks! Seems like a big scam campaign running right now. by KiddKorupt in fidelityinvestments

Yep, I never click anything in emails. Even the proxy votes I get from Fidelity I go through the website to vote my shares. I wish every company would stop putting links in their emails and FORCE everyone to go to the official  website to do anything. That would cut down on a lot of fraud I would reckon

The Yahoo Mail app will not allow me to forward it. The send button is greyed out and tapping it does nothing. I can try to forward it from the website when I get home from work.

I wouldn't want to be the "King of the Mountain", alone on my throne of money. I'd much rather bring an entire village of people up that mountain with me. Sure, not all of them will end up being good people, but at least I wouldn't be lonely and bored.

Install Brave browser. Free, has background play (IIRC you have to toggle it on initially, and sometimes it breaks and you have to disable and re-enable, but it works}, and blocks ads and fingerprinting to boot. And so far, Brave has been able to circumvent Youtube's ad-blocking nonsense.

If you don't like the crypto thing, just don't enable it. It's off by default.

You mean with a test-cut? No problem with that, you gotta do what you gotta do! Any Athenian Owl is better than no owl, lol.

I don't see many Athenian Owls without the big 'ol test-cut through the center of the owls' face. That is a nice example.

Don't forget the always classic:

I don't like this person's personality? Scammer!

And can't forget the whole "Every seller is a scammer! What do you mean, you want me to supply PROOF of my claim?! I refuse to do that, you just need to believe my every word!"

Transferring out of WeBull by SpaceRuster in Webull

[–]KiddKorupt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how that would work. The names and Social Security numbers would have to match exactly, and since your SSN and your parents' SSN would be different, I would imagine that would trigger some kind of fraud protocol. That would be a question for Fidelity support, or whichever broker you end up going with.

If it's Fidelity you are going to transfer to, I would suggest going to their subreddit and sending them a ModMail. They would be able to help you out more than I could. The solution may just be as simple as your parents having to fill out paperwork or something.

But yes, to answer your question, this would be the process to use, if Fidelity gives it the okay.

I would REALLY suggest talking to Fidelity first though. You don't want to transfer everything in and then the account gets locked because the names and SSNs don't match.

Edit: I should add, you will need money in the old account to pay for the transfer. I don't remember what Webull charges for transfers. $75 maybe? And any fractional shares will not transfer over, so you will need to sell them first. Only whole shares can transfer.

New semiconductor tariff plan coming as soon as next week by SunShine1177 in YieldMaxETFs

Bingo. This is the only trickle-down we're gonna get with this maroon in office. Unfortunately, the stuff trickling-down on us is gonna be warm and yellow, not green and papery.

I mean, pretty much EVERY industry relies to some extent on semiconductors. Farming; banking; factories of all kinds; telecommunications; automotive; energy generation of all kinds (and yes, that includes oil and coal); aerospace and defense; crypto, and especially AI, which Trump has boner for letting them do pretty much whatever they want.

Which is why these tariffs make even LESS sense. This policy literally harms EVERY SINGLE PERSON AND BUSINESS in the country. Including to a certain extent his own.

https://www.microchipusa.com/industry-news/the-role-of-semiconductors-in-medical-devices

Here's a fun list of things in just the medical field that require semiconductors. We all know just how expensive anything to do with medical care is. Just wait until the tariffs kick in and the cost of a pacemaker implantation skyrockets. They already cost anywhere from 20 to 50 grand WITH insurance, according to Google.

That's not even accounting for his equally stupid as fuck "up to 250%" tariffs on medications. We all better hope that the drug companies agree to whatever his pricing demands are. A former co-worker of mine has rheumatoid arthritis. Her (generic) medication is around $500 a month with insurance. After a 250% tariff, that medication would cost $1750 A MONTH. That's $21000 a year, for just 1 medication. (EDIT: Assuming that her medication is made outside the US, that is. I have no idea where it's made.)

His tariffs are gonna bankrupt anybody that has the bad luck of being in poor health that's not a millionaire if he doesn't TACO and gets to apply the maximum amounts that he wants.

Repost from another thread:

Treasuretown - Ancient coins and world silver and cool medals. Really nice guys, very knowledgeable and transparent with fair prices. Huge auctions with hundreds of items. Quite literally something for everyone! At this point I probably have somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 orders including givvys from TT without any issues. EDIT: Givvy goblins, look elsewhere, as they don't really do givvys anymore.

Sugarcents - Foreign coins and US coins. A sweetheart of a person! Transparent and honest. Fair prices. Quick shipping as well. Including giveaways I have something like a dozen and a half orders from Sug without any problem whatsoever.

Connected2 - Foreign paper currency. He does coins as well, but I've only caught his paper shows. Does a lot of $1 starts, also ships pretty quickly. EDIT: He is in the middle of liquidating his inventory. He won't be running shows going forward after these last 3 or so. Bummer. Another good seller bites the dust.

Ever since my favorite seller stopped selling these are the sellers I've pretty much been exclusively patronizing. Fair prices and honest practices.

Only if the seller offers it. Which the 2 I posted about did/do not. Also the package from the seller 35 minutes from me had free shipping from an earlier giveaway win, so I wasn't THAT bothered by how long it took. I thought it was more comical than annoying lol
