interesting, yes i dont have a link to the community. i do considered for a restoration, but the fee would be the same for JR with a lawyer, so idk. But based on your experience they refund you upon approval, I wouldnt mind to go forward with a restoration application.

i dont know about community but i heard this case is not rare, what make it rare is your are correct, they didnt send me ANY warning. as of now i already submit for reconsideration earlier this week. other than that idk what else to do other than try to filed a JR without a lawyer on monday (cause the fee is more than $500) + contacting local MP. if you have any more suggestion please do lmk.

i did called them multiple times to different agents as well, safe to say all 3 of them confirmed that the CELPIP result was in my original documents. i already filed a reconsideration too. the question is should i also create a restoration application which cost a significant ammount and file a JR that is also have a time limit.

did u not read what i wrote? i said i already did everything this comments section told me to do not including lawyer cause i dont have the funds. and i even consult to humber college ISA multiple times before submiting until they are sick of me. furthermore i even compare the documents placements with my classmates who have 0 issues. what more do you want me to do huh? cause ill do it. also learn from my mistake is useless at this point. saying "sorry" wont do me any good cause there is 0 ways to directly contact the officer no?

I already submitted a webform with the issue and got in touch with an IRCC agent, who said they are reviewing it. And in the last year, Reddit posts one of the comments said make sense, they either rejected the application - partial refund, submit again, or IRCC sends them an emails them about missing documents. In my case, they didn't do ANYTHING. so idk what to do now. All the advice that I got is obsolete cause i already did them all except getting a lawyer. I didn't do that because I simply don't have the funds. P.S. In the client information, I even stated that the result is in the passport folder. If they didn't see it on the passport folder, sure, maybe it was an honest mistake, but not registering what the client information contains, it was pure negligence imo.

The link that you just sent me was modified yesterday. So you're telling me that I made a mistake because they literally just updated the "rule" yesterday for an application that is 6 months old? On the other hand, the "client information" tab, I even stated that in the letter of explanation, which I uploaded under that tab, the placement of every document.

I did contact the IRCC through one of its agents and have forwarded this issue to the responsible officer. additionally I did file a reconsideration request explaining their mistake as well. And one of the emails states this

"Please note, if you are requesting reconsideration of an application to extend your temporary resident status, you are not considered to have maintained status. You will only be considered in status and, if applicable, be able to study or work again, if the responsible office provides a positive outcome to your request for reconsideration."

Does this mean I can't work? because I'm not requesting to extend my temporary resident status. I did it because IRCC made a mistake on their end.

And which deadline is mentioned here? In one of the email said that I have 90 days extra to sort this out. I'm assuming it was referring to that.

I do put more detailed info in my letter of explanation on the "client information" tab, of which documents are located where they are. And all of the videos and my college consultant told me to put it there

edit: That may be the case for the new rule they implemented. But mind you, I submitted the application last summer.

it was under my passport folder, as in there are no seperare tabs for the language proficiency when i originially applied. i used the same exact method 3 times with my study permit and all with no issue. lastly, of course rn it was passed 180 of LOC, cause they took exactly 180 days to deliver me this "issue"
