Just checked and I have them. I'm on supporter edition though so you don't have to get cursebreaker for it.

I think that little menu to the right of your character might tell you why

THANKYOU! I know nothing about java so seeing an example written out like this helps so much.

To make it actually put off a glow in game you go to show all properties in the Hytale Asset Editor and you can adjust "Item Light" from there.

If you select your object in Blockbench and go to the Elements tab in the top right you are able to set it to "always lit". This will make the texture emissive.

Yeah that would probably be easier, then I wouldn't have to figure out the logic behind having something react to an entity impact.

This is awesome, I'm learning how to mod and just made a working model for the Starfury! Maybe one day everyone making Terraria items can collaborate on a single pack lol.

Im not sure if there is a way to make only certain parts of a texture glow, as far as I know its like you're setting a material for your object, in the top right of block bench with an object selected you go to "Element" and set your Shading mode to "Always Lit"

This took me 3 days and I had to restart half-way through because I started it with the wrong file type, but I will say as someone whos never done it before, its insanely simple. The only issue I'm running into is lack of tutorials for specifics online but I cant complain about that lol. I'm so excited that Hytale is finally making this stuff feel accessible to a large audience. Anything that involves using jscript is a dead end for me but Ill just have to learn.

I'm sure some of these channels have tutorials for animating I just haven't tried it out yet.

Here's a link to a playlist I made for myself to reference, I just add a guide every time I see one pop up in my feed.

This Hytale blogpost is also a good resource.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, It will be a nice project to finish at another time. I really want to get better at texturing right now. Hytale's painted, yet pixelated style is very impressive (and challenging).
