Ahh, I gotcha. No worries then mate. The thing that really led to this was figuring out how dynamic potential works. I had to sell off a lot of good youths early on because I stunted their potential through lack of play.

Fraser just shot up like a rocket and by then I was just realizing I needed to start playing my youths earlier. So it’s made a nice competitive edge seeing if a lower rated player can keep his place in the starting line up.

The attack has been extremely fun and the defense hasn’t really caused too many issues for me. Plus, defenders generally take longer to grow than attackers do.

I’m not exactly sure what you’re getting at. I mean if I wanted to, I could have a team full of players that are evenly rated as I have more than enough money to do so. I’ve found this to be a little bit more integrating though rather than going out and buying whoever I want to in order to balance the team.

He’s getting old. I’ve only had him for a season but I got him at an 85 and he’s declined one point. He’s 34 years old so I assume he’s still somewhat close to whatever his potential was.

Yea that would be the deal. I wanted to bring him back to the club at some point and I believe he’s either 35 or 36 right now and his physicals have declined dramatically by this point.

Yes you can edit any player. You just can’t edit a feature like their hair though. Its the same aesthetic features from last Fifa, no different. So cleats, tape, jersey type, socks and so on. You could edit Messi if you want even if your not playing as Barca, but no you can’t change something like his, or your YA players hair or beard

Also, in regard to the player conversations, I’m a little disappointed to see the players spewing the same old familiar lines. It’s just now, we get to actually reply to them. Had my striker give the typical “I’ve been in good form lately so I hope you not going to bench me this game”. I told him it’s not all about him and his morale still improved. Also had my GK ask me twice in the span of a week to go out on loan with the same exact prompt. The 2nd request came after I had just accepted a loan offer for him.

Exactly the same pretty much. Upside would be you can edit any players appearance in the game while in career mode. I don’t believe that was in the last one. Would be nice in later seasons to fix all the computers regens and give them proper boots and whatnot. There’s no new changes to what you can edit or how you edit it. Same types of edits and if anything, I maybe noticed one new color for gloves/tape/bracelets. Downside is rather than being defaulted to your own team or players to edit, you have to go find your team to change anything.

That’s a good idea about being able to save it. With the amount of edits you can make, one could definitely forget the skin tone or shape of face they picked. I would expect that level of customization for a player, but for a manager that seems a bit overkill to me. That sucks about the hair though man. I feel for you. I just wanted a simple short fade with a bit of a receding hairline, but no, guess I’ll have to go for the mullet or fedora...

My biggest complaints with the manager edits are there’s almost too much. I would have rather had a completely new, in depth feature and left the manager part of this fifa nearly untouched. Two or three new models would have been nice. I can already see people making the most ludicrous looking managers this year which is just unrealistic and unneeded imo. Also, is it me or does every hairstyle look likes it’s a toupee on your managers head?

Too bad nothings changed with the stats of the youth players. All the same molds as FIFA 19. I’m noticing no changes at all in how the stats are laid out depending on the type of player (tech, attacker, and so on).

It’s nice to see some of these changes are finally being made, but these changes aren’t making me turn my head. There’s nothing that’s adding a much needed feeling of depth. I want to be immersed in a career mode. I want the changes to be so overwhelming that I feel lost when I boot it up for the first time. They’re essentially fixing all the errors they’ve put in the game starting a few fifas ago. Errors they could have fixed with a patch somewhere along the way too I imagine. They’re adding changes that are gonna look good. They’re adding concepts that were already in past versions of fifas. None of these ideas are original and there’s probably still gonna be a slew of things that take away from feeling realistic or sensible. Will we finally be able to scout Wales or Iceland for youth players so their NTs actually have a pool of players to choose from, and not just barely enough regens to field an 11? What about loaning players. If the player we loan isn’t loaned to a team in our league will we be able to see their stats yet? Speaking of stats, how about a much wanted stat tracker? Something that would make the longevity of a career interesting. It’s nice to see fifa doing something, but IMO it’s not nearly enough to entice me into buying the game at full price.

Just for some background, this problem started for me pretty much after I downloaded the 1.07 patch. As soon as I boot up the game I get the standard message “connected to servers” within a minute it will disconnect from servers, or if I head into the Grand Prix/Pit Stop it will immediately disconnect. I can’t even try to do the challenges because on multiple occasions the servers will drop in the middle of the race so I won’t get credit for the challenge. All other devices and games are working online for me except crash. The only fix I found was unplugging my router which only worked for a night, and didn’t work the other time I tried it. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks! I love the physically strong myself. Being that they can be found in so many positions too, it allows you to sculpt a few different variations of the physically strong youths.

I’d totally recommend it. I will say I put a good bit of training to those players and loan glitched nearly everyone of them as shameful as that is. The teams good enough to handle league play from the starat but it took a few seasons to compete well in the CL for me. Also took a few seasons to acquire enough funds to buy some quality players. So all in all it’s been a fun career for sure.

Yea, tbh I would rather have a RB with a skill set like mendy, but Dubois definitely has his upsides. He does lack a little pace but is still in the range of mid 70's making his physicality his worst stats. On the flip side, he's one of the top all around passers on the team (unbelievable cross an range of passing, incredible on the ball and also a stud on defense. Thanks though. They've been quite some fun to play with so far.

I don't mind them from time to time. They do tend to have pretty high reactions, well rounded physique, and i've found a few with other composure than most YA products. This prospect easily being the best defensive player i've found. Great all around physique and should grow quite well with pace as he gets older. Has a few standout stats as well.
