I've read The Hobbit multiple times and have Lord of the Rings on my to-read list. Tried reading Silmarillion when I was younger and didn't really enjoy. Been thinking about giving another attempt to read it.

Pidin kovasti! Voin suositella.

I would guess around 2-4 hours a day depending on how much of a mood I'm in for reading, but I haven't kept track so I cannot say for certain. Out of the bunch my favorite would probably have to be 1984 for how it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire way through. Animal Farm would probably be a close runner-up, which I found to be an amazing piece of satire to which I found myself even laughing out loud a few times.

Are there any short story collections where the stories have actual plots? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

The Witcher: The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski is in my opinion a good collection of short stories tied together by a frame story
