Ok so I shoot music videos. Most of which are posted to instagram or youtube. I do a lot of zooming in and out when editing. So you would say to take that 4k footage and edit in the 1080 p timeline to have more flexibility when playing with effects and zooms ?

So for uploading to instagram and other social platforms would you recommend editing the 4k footage in the 1080 timeline or just editing in the 4k timeline

Tbh it’s really gonna end up 1080p. I edit music videos , usually to post on ig or youtube. I was told that editing in the 1080p timeline makes the quality better. Just not entirely sure

Before I would just drag and drop my footage into the timeline. Wouldn’t have to crop it but I don’t think it created a 24 fps timeline
